Well given there's a female rule (I think at least one player on the pitch needs to be a female) we need to make sure we have numbers there so our ladies don't have to play copious ammounts of game time. Given I think we're playing 3 games it'd be good to have a decent ammount of subs, but now we've got 11 confirmed starters we can play it by ear, one important consideration is the positions that everyone takes. Obviously Dibo is our penalty taker.

i will play RB or striker and IF we really really need a GK i will be the back up but i wont be the 1st choice unless we are either losing by heaps or winning by heaps.

I think we can probably see who is there on the day and organise a 4-4-2. This isn't the Donny Parkes Cup

I agree Brett, was more concerned with having a Keeper though.

Either stopper or striker. Have we worked out what shirts we 'll be wearing if its not dinamo jerseys do we need to work out jersey numbers? I play better in No.8

Australia supporters might be gold so we might have to pick a non-yellow non-sky blue colour.
Does anyone have access to a club strip we could use? Otherwise we'll just have to nominate say dark blue, or white.

I agree Brett, was more concerned with having a Keeper though. With the goalie thing i could have a go if it comes down to it particually if theres like a shootout or something on the cards i've had some pretty good succes from spot kicks in the past all arse not skill anyway offers there if u need it. make sure i'm sober tho

Dibo, we could always use more players. Brett, if we could get a club strip it'd be good, if not I'd go with white given it's the Mariners away strip. (I've got Leeds Jerseys people could use ) Eggy: Isn't all penalty stopping about all arse no class, unless you're Mr. Schwarzer or Mr Vukovic?

I'm reasonably tall and more then willing to dive in the mud so i'll have a okish chance of getting there and this offers only an option if no one elses hands go up.

update on venue from the cove organisers:
The announcement on the ground is imminent.
I've had to negotiate my way through all sorts of bloody red tape to secure a ground.
I'm waiting for final confirmation, which I expect any time now.
The likely ground is Lokomotiv Cove FC's home ground, Tempe Reserve. It has hot showers and a canteen. We'll put a BBQ on. We'll probably set up some kids activities too.
I'll provide a map once it's all 100% confirmed.

So if we can get a team's strip we'll go with that, if not the colour will be white, I have a few white Leeds jerseys (from happier days) but I doubt anyone would fit into them. I do also have a Mariners away strip, we could potentially speak to the club?

speaking to the club will be a battle in regards to the last time we borrowed their kit.
