So is the majority happy with these 2 sides? or would anyone like to suggest any alterations? If so I can get a move on and get the clubs permission to use their name on the same scarf, fire away final designs to the supplier and then get my hands on a sample. Once that's done we can order them in and start selling them pre-season ;D

Looks good to me! To be honest the nitty gritty as to how big the skull is or what way the flag points isn't really going to change how I feel about donning the scarf or holding it up. Rather than purely design, having a 16 on there would create some symbolism that I disagree with for the reason that Jeff states. I don't think there's any doubt that Bay 16 is where it all started, but we should be making it clear that match-day Marinating can be conducted from adjacent bays, or at least not saying otherwise. The Cove has their Bay 23 but they have the luxury of 1000+ willing singers. We don't and we need to facilitate growth. Besides, Lawrie writes down 15 names each week, not 16, except when we're in the finals

r we taking the yellow flags off? i still think they should go but yeah? personally I say yes but a lot of people liked them on the other thread, I think it's enough having them on the marinators side but whatever people want we will try and get! as previously said my concern is the quality of the small flag when on the actual scarf

From a "branding" perspective (sorry), Marinators should become a name for passionate CC Mariners fans.
Some of those will choose to be in Bay 16, some wont.
Yes, the core will remain in and around 16, but to subtly imply (albeit probably unintentionally) that you CANNOT be as passionate if you are in another Bay is potentially divisive IMHO.
The most example of this is surely the Squadrunts?? Talk to adult, responsible Jets fans and they are so emabarrassed and insulted by their very presence. This lead to attempts to move them at the SFC game following a lot of complaints about Bay 2 restricting peoples views etc.If you have to be in 16 to be considered a "better" fan, a lot of credibility might be lost.
ps - Been talking to a fair few Jets to rub in the Ownes signing. Not happy let me tell you :-)

r we taking the yellow flags off? i still think they should go but yeah? Please do. I guess that is one reason to get a sample to see if it works or not.

as a 'sample' can we have one end with flag and one end no flag to compare? If that scarf was made I would pay the normal price to own it.
