As part of my role as elected Club Captain of the new Marinators Club, I am forming a subcommittee to support my role and garner more diverse input to how we conduct football support.
The job of the subcommittee will be to discuss strategies for support on match days. The main function will be meeting to review what we have done on match days previously, generate ideas for what we can do in future and work out how to implement them.
This will not be a banner/flag making group, or the designate song starters in Bay 16. Those activities, even for banners organised by this subcommittee, will be open for all people, Club members or not, to contribute to as they wish.
You should only nominate if you have interest in the overall direction of the home end at Mariners games and if you have the time to be present at meetings and complete research into any ideas that we come up with.
Also, as this subcommittee will essentially drive the match day arm of the Marinators Club and its funds, it is fair that only Marinators Club members can apply.
