Hello all
The Marinators Club will be having a Strategic Planning evening:
When: 7:30pm sharp Tuesday 31 July 2007 Where: Central Coast Leagues Club (Room TBA) Facilitators: David Redden, Jeff Hall, Michael Kmet
The idea of this evening is to start of process of strategic planning for the organisation and lay down goals and objectives for the next three years. It is a framework of where we want to head and what we want to achieve.
Please come as your input will be very valuable. We need a diverse audience to achieve a strong and balanced strategic plan.

Hope as many members as possible can attend this important evening at CCLC. The meeting will start right on 7.30pm, and if you want your say as to the direction of our club, this is an opportunity you should not miss.
Regards,
AM

After hearing what was said at the Meeting on Sunday, I encourage everyone who has had some involvement with The Marinators to get involved with this and add some diversity to the Club's planning for the next few years. You may not have agreed with things that have happened in the past, or maybe you felt that things could have been done better. Maybe there were opportunities (business or social) that you saw for the Marinators that weren't taken up? Now is the time to step forward with that brilliant idea, properly set it out to an open forum Meeting and have it discussed. All that said though, I can't make it due to work commitments, is there some way I could PM or email someone who could table an idea I have?

Any word on what room we'll be in for this one?
I'm just starting to get the flu but at this stage it isn't bad but expect me in quite a few layers if I make it out of work in time.

Hi all
Please make the effort to come tonight as we need good numbers to devlop a strong strategic plan.
I have been away but have spent all of my day off yesterday preparing for tonight.
Here is the run down of tonight's proceedings:
1. Welcome and outline of strategic planning process 2. Review of club mission 3. Development of SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) 4. Development of one and three year goals 5. Development of action plans to underpin goals including discussion of fanzine 6. Brainstorming of ideas for a big, audacious future
The night will be fairly structured and all will be encouraged to voice their views in a variety of ways within this structure.
