I think that this game will be the away trip most do this year due to the low cost compared to other venues and the fact we have done Qld the last two years. At this stage I think it needs to be the nominated away trip nothing more. tour of duty is what the glory fans do, that name should be left to them and we need to come up with our own name for future trips. Naming of future armada's (my suggestion ) I think will come through the marinators club and the executive. I think the idea needs to be brought up at the strategic planning meeting before we have organised packaged trips like the glory do. Not discouraging this just thinking we keep the status quo until it's formalised for next season. edit: I believe serious has a number of people going already, I have flights booked, Melsy and Bear are going, I dare say the Marinermums clan will be going so a fair few are already booked. One thing working against this weekend was ccf finals were around this time which would affect some.

Should be down in Mexico for the game, If need be let me know and I can hunt around and see what group package I can come up with keeping the cost as reasonable as possible.

I'd suggest that Sept 16 would be a good time to get away from NSW and particularly Sydney (for those Coasties now living in enemy territory). That's the weekend they have APEC slated -Sydney will be a mess. I'm hoping that I can get to Melbourne too.

Good to her some others may be at this game; I will be on holidays near Melbourne and was hoping to fit the game into my itinerary. Now that there's a contingent i'll definitely try to work it in.

You might be making the trek back from bangkok for the game.
