looking at the jetstar route map seems avalon is now only used for flights to Sydney, Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane.

Hey just got my flight booked to leave from Newcastle on the Sunday. Got to get my ticket still but I assume everyone is in the away supporters section. Thanks mitch and mel for the accomodation,( I will ring before the sunday). Dad unfortunatly can't come but is still trying through. Can't wait should be a long day of drinking and singing. Any thoughts of where to go after the game? I know the casino is always good but young and jackson might be alright on a sunday night?

Myself and Melsy will be going to the game and into the stadium with non mariners jackets on. Im all for giving it to fans at away games, and im not scared of a little biff, but 40,000 melbourne scum, I dont bloody think so.

At Olympic Park last year we all went colored, scarfed, wigged, flagged, and the rest of it, and the worst we copped was some racist Italians and a few drunken Scots, one who was more than happy to buy my Viking hat from me. Most of the "well 'ard" Melbourne supporters are nothing more than teenagers who've watched Green Street one too many times and won't actually do anything. I'd be more worried about copping asthma from a flare.  |
