This is sooo embarrassing folks, but one I must clear up immediately. The Birthday that dropped onto the Forum was for an Account in the name of Pete, which is not me!  My Account name is Petethebusdriver. I have, for a long time, altered the username to just Pete - hence everyone's confusion. I AM SO SORRY FOR ANY CONFUSION, oh, and have a Happy Birthday Pete, whoever you may be.  |

Now there's a good birthday! Happy Birthday. Not a bad day actually. 6 or so loud high school girls up the back of the bus on one of my last trips, plenty of old folks going out on their $2-50 Pensioner excursion tickets (had a coin tray full of 50c pieces), TWO annoying execs paid for their fares (not exceeding $2-90) with a $50 bill AND I CHANGED THEM BOTH SO THEY COULDN"T SCAM A FREE RIDE, traffic mostly running smoothly, not much time delays. But......getting up at 2:30 AM after being out watching the Olyroos match and getting home at 10:30PM was not a great way to start the day. Thanx for the well wishes folks, would have been a nice touch IF it had really been my Birthday. ;D |
