The Cove are no bother really.
The issues at the last SFC game were solely caused by pissed up adults who were allowed to sit in bay 15 and then fired up when we started winning. Easily avoidable and another stunning success from Bluetongue security.
This time around, we have the SCC to contend with and they are an unknown. Best off in the away support IMHO

Where would the SCC go though?
Wouldn't they be reluctant to sit with the Cove in bay 31?

The signage for the away supporters (Qld) was actaully up at Bay 13 still, so no change yet.
And no enforcement by security to move the 6 or so supporters.
If security feel they can't move 6 what chance do they have when the Cove visits and decides they prefer not to look into the sun and head for Bay 13?

We all bonded when we played Melbourne ;D Pre- & post-match we were together and singing eachothers songs. Although, we're yet to see the SCC in any significant numbers on an away trip, so I guess we'll see how smoothly it goes.

Hope this move doesn't kill the atmosphere too much for the big games - the greatest atmosphere I've ever witnessed/experienced at a home game was the 13th October game against Sydney last year....... it's a shame that for the short term at least we won't get an atmosphere like that again.
It's just a pity that there's always a few bad eggs on both sides that have bought about this change. *grumbles*

Serious, you should have been in bay 15 for that game. All the atmosphere you could want :-)
Served with a side order of death threats, beer showers, missiles and people getting thumped.
I can live without it TBH :-)

the reason that the security didn't move any of the QLD supporters on Sunday or have signs removed was that apparently this new rule is to take effect from the next home game vs Melbourne on 4th November. Its another sunday 5pm game so don't expect we'll get any/many away fans anyway.
