....standing next to Shoelady and myself, who thought that hitting each other with those rolled up sign things all game, and talking about who was going to Justin's party and all the rest of it, and not watching a single f*cking second of the game or joining in one song: GO. AWAY. TO. BAY. SOMEWHERE-ELSE. PLEASE. By all means come to the games, 'cause the club likes the money and it makes our attendances look better, but for goodness sake, we're trying to create active support in Bay 16, and quite frankly, you're not helping. Go and talk about Justin's party somewhere else...... And to that person (probably find them on MySpace) who said "No. 13's shit, f*ck off you old man", and "Craig Moore plays for the Victory doesn't he??" - not sure if there's any hope left for you mate. I think there's a My Chemical Romance concert playing on Facebook right now......  |

what happned to everyone coming over early and stratigicly sitting around bay??
i think because the bay fills from the back it leaves massive space for them to come and sit because they heard it was the cool thing to do of a friend on myspace...any one not in yellow shouldnt be in bay 16......

I got there about 10-15 minutes before kickoff and there were still a few spots up the back, so it was fine. I think if you get to the bay and there are non-participators in areas that stops you being adjacent to the solid core, come a bit earlier. Keeping the singers as a compact group is the important thing. |

if bay 16 is full of EMO's, and people get there a little later, how about a few people move bays? Don't we keep refering to 'the bay' now rather than bay 16?

honestly - i think there are so many there because there are simply not enough (standing) Marinators to fill bay 16 let alone 'the bay'. Give it a few years - they'll either grow out of it or join in.

2 years of heaping shit on newbies,emos whatever and now the bays numbers are dwindling a little.Is there a pattern here, I think so.The constant crap about this issue for me is over,move on if you dont like Emos etc move or ask them to participate.

That's the thing though, I often do, but I'm greeted with blank stares or outright hostility of the "don't tell us what to do variety", when all I'm doing is trying to give them crepe paper and let them know that this will be an active support area........
They don't _want_ to participate, and a lot of them never have, and they're taking up space that could be used by others who want to stand up and sing their arses off. I'd much rather a Bay with 90% of people engaged in active support, instead of 2 rows here, 3 rows there, and a giant hole of silence/barely caring "support" in the middle.

Also starting to get very pissed off with people walking out 5 mins before the end when we are winning FFS.
To the group who got a fair bit of stick as they walked up the steps between 15 & 16.........The "is Erina fair still open" was the funniest closely followed by "its 90 minutes, not 85"
