Hi
Just a question in regards to memberships, i know a couple of us at least are in this position. We are expecting a baby very soon and of course he will be coming along to games with mum and dad. The terms and conditions state child as anyone under the age of 12, does this apply to children under 2 years of age too or are they free entry?
Just thought that might be handy for some of us to know! thanks Scott

“Children under the age of 4 are granted free entry into Bluetongue Stadium for Mariners home games, provided they sit in the White (General Admission) area. If they wish to sit in the Gold (Reserved Seat) area, those children would have to sit on an adult’s knee, as they are not entitled to a reserved seat.
If you currently have Gold seats and are expecting or have a child under 4, and you are looking to keep your current seats for many years to come (and we would love to hear that), we would recommend the sooner the better that you purchase a Gold Membership for your Child.
With our Membership base increasing each season, it will be more difficult to try and find adjoining seats in say 3 years time, than what it would be now.
Having a 3 and 1 year old myself, I understand the challenges of taking young ones to sporting events, and whilst the intention of nursing a young one on your lap at a game sounds fine in theory, the reality is very different, for not only yourself, but the comfort of others around you.
It is purely a personal decision, but as a Membership Manager, my recommendation to the excellent supporters such as yourselves, would be to reserve that seat now and purchase a Gold Membership.
I know the cynical ones will say “Of course he says that, he’s trying to sell Memberships”, sure, but I am also trying to look after those who have been with us from the start, and I would hate to see you have to move in a few years time into seats further out in gold areas.
I am happy to discuss any Membership related issues with any of you and I am looking forward in seeing all your Membership applications coming in. Simply email me at memberships@ccmariners.com.au

Ivan Spyrdz Membership & Ticketing Manager”
