I'm sure he has the option too depending if he fits into the salary cap
Being a local too and if he enjoys his football here I don't see why not? Plus of course it depends on his performances

DJ: We don't have a Marquee $igning so the salary cap isn't really a problem.

DJ: We don't have a Marquee $igning so the salary cap isn't really a problem. Wha? Marquees are outside the cap, that's the idea. I think our wage bill will sit well below the cap for a while yet.

That's what I'm saying. DJ said 'if he fits in the cap' and as we don't have a marquee signing it isn't a problem.

omni- you missed WT's point - marquee signings (i.e. dwight) don't count to the salary cap, so whether we have one or not doesn't matter. what does matter is the finances issue that dj's raised. merch seems to be well above what it might have been, while gate takings are not fantastic. not sure exactly how the bank book looks for the club, but i'm sure it's not an entire disaster area e.g: i'm sure we can spend up to our cap. we also don't have sydney's problem of finishing with 18 in the list.

"New signing Jamie McMaster is still awaiting a clearance from his former club, AGF Aarhus of Denmarkâs Sturneringen, but will certainly be available for the Mariners following match against the New Zealand Knights at Central Coast Stadium on January 8."
