2-1 our way - hope we hold on... feel sorry for Perth's goalkeeper though, and hope it's not serious.

Well Done Lads and Lasses
Was a great entertaining game by both sides...Thought it deserved a draw but then again thats football for you.
We had all the momentum in the 2nd half until the injury to Jason and then after the re-start that seemed to stall our momentum and played on our minds and it cost us a goal...Looks like it could be a season ending injury to Jason...He's broken his leg...And due to his age it may well be his career over but we will see...We have a great young keeper in Vrteski to replace him though - Most glory fans believe he should have been starting anyway.

cheers peterss, i tell you from the stand it seemed like a close thing. Poor guy, that thing really came out of nowhere, just got his spot back too didnt he. You guys broke fast, I think in the end we just broke faster that once....maybe it looked different on the box, but i nearly spat when o'grady cleared off the line in the 8th minute of overtime! you gals dont deserve 6th, but its a funny comp with 8 teams, aint it.

Wouldn't quite go along with the A-League site's report "riveting". There was too much back-pass to keeper - lose posession - back pass to other keeper (repeat again) especially in the first half.
With the number of shots Perth had I think we were pretty lucky and well behind last week's form. Thank God for Tommy's skills.
Really, really feel for Mori. Not sure about the mechanism of the clash and whether the impact on Petkovic was actually him or Colissimo (waiting for Sports Tonight) but heard a radio interview with him yesterday where he said Petkovic is his best mate and he is his kid's godfather and stuff. Probably should have been replaced after that cause it would have been tough to go on with the job.

I felt we got 2 more points than we deserved tonight. A draw or even a loss would not have flattered Perth. What impressed me about them was their ball retention whereas our MF spent most of the night giving it back. Ron Smith is doing a top class job with them and if they can add 1 or 2 more quality players, they will be a real challenger.
A win is a win and I wont complain but we looked decidedly shaky for large parts of the game.
Positives:-
Wilko,O'Grady,Clarkie and Tommy.
In a special section all of his own is Kwassie. Never looked liked scoring but ran his arse off. The more I see him I think he could play MF easily. He holds the ball up really well but no one was making runs from MF tonight (Tommy excluded). His willingness to get back and defend during the 2 hour injury time (felt that long) was fantastic
Still, 3 more points

Again take the the 3points and move on on. Our midfield is lacking, we miss Gumps, need Spenny back in form and give Brown a run!

a draw woulda been fair. like was said earlier, if perth had one or two decent extra players they would be in good shape. remember that despotovski missed a sitter in the first half and young again after tommy scored his second. if those shots for 30cms either way woulda been a different story. as peterss said, thats football. take the good and whinge about the bad

As anyone who saw me after the game will know, I just don't care about the result, yea we won yippee but I just stopped caring after the injuries to be honest.
Best wishes to Colosimo & Petkovic.

We deserved the win tonight. Our defence was great tonight and Dannys keeping brilliant as usual. Tommy you were an absolute star.
Buy why does Kawsnik keep starting? I keep hearing he has got such talent but never seen it. Put him back to the bench permanently until his talent returns. Petrie could have played up front with Browny or Ossy starting in midfield.
