Not happy with the SFC goal. Replay clearly shows the ball go out!

Not happy with the SFC goal. Replay clearly shows the ball go out! yep - i was in bay 13 and i saw the ball go out of play, but that doesn't mean we had had to stop defending...... 3 of our players just stood still.....

Great team effort in difficult circumstances. Danny's stopping was brilliant A1...but his distribution really needs to improve.
Crowd support was fantastic and we really are more consistent than Sydney's crowd. Not so keen on the golden shower from our own supporters (we complained when the Jest did it to us!) and neither were the families that got soaked with beer. You guys must have too much money if you can afford to chuck it around at those prices...
Sorry bagpipe man wasn't there. I was looking forward to seeing and hearing him...

Saturday night was the first away game I had travelled to in Sydney (I have been to Newcastle before) and I have to say it was overall an outstanding experience. Although it did start off a little shakey on the walk from the 18 dollar parking field with a group of 8 year old SFC supporters spotting my Mariners gear and yelling "Mariners Suck" at me for almost the entire walk to the stadium, but it only got better from there Once I had found a nice spot amongst many other loyal Mariners supporters. The game was excellent and the away support I thought was incredible and the result was fair. The atmosphere when Vuka saved that penalty around me was almost as good as having scored a goal! It was a night to remember indeed. So hats off to all you guys for being so supportive! From someone who knows, it is very encouraging to all the other fans who see you consistantly coming to every game every week. You guys do an incredible job. LJC

Great game but we definatly should have come away with the three points . I was a little dissapointed with our finishing Tommy should have a double and we should have blasted the two shoots saved on the line by SFC defence. Our big guns at the back seem a little down at the moment especially MB he has played a lot better . Great game and Danny just kepts getting better in goal.

LJC firstly welcome to the forum, and great that you had a enjoyable time on Saturday Night always welcome to join us in the Kendall Bar before the game (if over 18), and/or Bay 16 at CC Stadium and of course on the road trips :-)
As for the ball being out I originally thought it was out but others around me judged it as being in, so i just put it down to wishful thinking :\ , either way you play to the whistle

He he he. But if I get up enough courage I may just try it. I am so used to sitting in amongst the players Mum's and Dad's with their quiet remarks and polite applause (Nah, it isn't usually too bad). But I admire you Marinators from afar.

Just keeps getting better doesnt it? Anyone know who the lone Mariner is who runs down from the cove when Tommy scores?

You don't necessarily have to be rowdy I enjoy sitting with them (when I'm not being sprayed with beer - contemplating an unbrella for protection). I leave the yelling to hubby I am sure he makes enough noise for both of us :-)
It's nearly more fun to watch their enthusiasm then the actual game.
