"Reddy to answer charge Football Federation Australia
Football Federation Australia (FFA) has cited Newcastle Jets goalkeeper Liam Reddy to appear before a disciplinary hearing on a charge of violent conduct.
The charge follows an incident in the 91st minute of the Jets' first leg A-League minor semi-final match against the Central Coast Mariners involving Reddy and Central Coast Mariners winger Wayne O’Sullivan.
Reddy will answer the charge at 4pm (AEDT) on Wednesday 15th February, 2006 at the FFA headquarters in Sydney.
The incident was not sighted by the match officials, however the charge has been laid following review by FFA head of operations, Matt Carroll."
What will the scum do now!!
They wont waste calling him in just to acquit him!!

Almost 4pm. Around this time Reddy would have those eyebrows at quite a ridiculous angle I would believe.

I think he'll get off - But if it wasn't finals it'd be a different story.
Although in saying that, some new replays I've seen are pretty conclusive. I wont be surprised either way. And I'll be happy either way because I believe the toasting the Marinators will give him could really throw him off his game.

If it was rugby league the c**t would be out for 2-3 weeks! He meant to do what he did in both incidents and should be punished.

If there was any doubt....they wouldn't call him in to face the charge.
He is going to put his case in, it wont work...he will get suspended. There can be no doubt it was on purpose.
If it was an accident, he would have done something on the pitch other than keep on walking

But they have an experienced tribunal and plenty of prior cases to run off. I have no idea who or how Reddy's case will be examined and what guidelines, if any, they are using to suspend him. That's why it's basically unpredictable as to what will happen.

If it was an accident, he would have done something on the pitch other than keep on walking exactly!
