A general warning to this forum:
We have an official match day thread. Please post match related stuff against in that thread.
The board has got out of hand yesterday and this morning with too many threads about the same things.
I know people are are upset but please use some common sense when posting.
I am now locking some threads so you can comment in the proper area.

Recidivist Thread starters continually riot & Chief Warden Mariner Mick declares a LOCK-DOWN. He walks silently but carries a big stick. Hit'em hard Mick, hit'em hard ;D
Seriously though, needs to happen more often.

Recidivism: Habitual relapse into crime. ~ist: NounSource. Australian Pocket Oxford Dictionary Second Edition. Word for the day Roddy! Had to check the dictionary for that one. Maybe we should start "Word for the Day" threads and vote for the most popular WFTD in a weekly poll, now that there's no Mariners' football.

He could offer to train the ballboys for next season? ;D He's harped on enough about the poor ballboy/girl service to the Mariners at home on air, and he was a past ballboy with the Breakers or KB United (?). ;D

the ball boys in newcastle puts ours to shame Ouch, I know it was a less than perfect season, but now we're kicking the ball boys? I suspect that they are under strict instructions, and initiative is frowned upon. Let's not hammer them.

Nah...one match they were truly shit!! Lost us the game, MrC..??!! That's clutching at straws. While I'd agree managers, players, assistant refs, and refs have lost us games. I can think of no example where the BBs have had such a major influence. ;D

in many instances they [ball boys] have lost us momentum when we are looking for quick throws in or we are behind on the clock i am sick of seeing players waiting for balls to be given to them or referees stopping play because there are two balls on the field I don't disagree, but it's unusual for the whole squad of 'ball people' to be so inept. As I said, I reckon they are under strict orders to do nothing unless the ball has been pilfered by the crowd, or is in the lake. Maybe those who have contacts with the 'Ball Boy Director' could find out and report back.

Great for PR, but they never learn how to be ball boys. Not like in my day.
