Regarding the layout of the forum, it is possible in proboards to have a navy background with yellow writing?

It's funny to see that everyone on the forum is so surprised by the addition of an apostrophe to the banner; I can remember sitting there for a minute contemplating whether to include it! BTW, a quick Google search reveals many Fans, Fan's and Fans' Forums. (But if you don't want the anal people to be put off, Fans' is correct)

Regarding the layout of the forum, it is possible in proboards to have a navy background with yellow writing? You have to be careful using bold colours for the text - hard on the eyes, and not very professional (appearance-wise). An updated colour scheme would be great (more yellow), but I would suggest - if it's possible - concentrating on the borders and page background, while keeping the background behind the main body of text relatively plain and simple. Remember white is the third Mariners colour.

Indeed, i think the current layout is fine anyway. Eh, i doodled these two on ms paint. If anyone wants to use them for anything on other sites or whatnot thats all good.

May I suggest ccmarfanye have a look at Drupal. This is a php-based web application with far more customise-ability than any of the many board scripts such as proboards. You would be able to work up a "profffesionl loking" forum for yourself and show us what you have in mind. Jonathan

I think the layout of the forum affects those who spend the most time using it, and none of those people seem to have complained about it, i reckon the layout should stay as is anyway.

I think the KitKat sign takes a lot away from the one with streamers same could be said about the NBN (a.k.a Scum TV) that's even more blatant at the bottom of the alternative.

Could be possible, but first, I just finished attempting to delete the KitKat sign:
