Hey, umm I dunno if something similar has been posted already I haven't been here in ages, but with heffernan not making the Nurnburg first team and looking likely to return to the A-league, and the Mariners needing a left back, will heffernan make a return to where he made a name for himself or will he join another a-league club or perhaps stay in europe??

Theres been a heap of hype talk and rumors on what Heff is gunna do he wants to play in Europe but no ones making him offers if he was to return to the a league i think it would have to be with mariners doubt he'll go else where.

i think he will stay in europe for as long as he can, but if he cant get a contract by june/july he might have to come back home and play for the mariners

If Heff returns to the A-League it will be with the Mariners, time will tell what he decides to do. With Ceccoli in Japan if he returns he will most likely become the leagues best left back IMO and perhaps be selected for home based socceroo games? could be tempting if the price is right?

If he came back to the A-league, it would be in Mariners colours. He came to the New Years Eve match to watch, and McKinna has been helping him in trying to get a place overseas and all.

I hope he comes back...his scoring ability, his fitness in the last ten minutes of a game and the fact that it is always good to see a back get forward and show the strikers how its done.

Hmmm he prob would be selected for left back unless they say want North at Left back and Milligan right coz well I think North left and Milsy right is better than North right and Heffernan left but he would still make the squad for sure but maybe not 100% to be a starter

north wasnt just the worst LB in the league, he must of been close to worst player. He must be b oning someone at the FFA, my guess Arnie, for his roos callups
