Also, a little bit concerned that the system didn't confirm my seat number. When I phoned the Mariners, I was assured by Ben that my seat from last season will be automatically given to me, though.......

Dibo & Keith, I agree I've never had a problem with losing my ticket or anything so I'm sure I'll be fine, just need to make sure I get it back before the PMF which has rarely been a problem.

That's great going. 10% of the stadium pre sold (Dibo reckons a capacity of 20119). Anyone have an idea what the break even crowd figure is for the Mariners? (By 'break even' I mean the crowd figure they need to pay the stadium rent for the match and the other expenses they might be responsible for. Alhough I suppose that figure is also dependant upon what price the tickets are.) i did a uni assigment on match day operations and unfortunately i am unable to share this information all i can say is that match operations are very expensive and more that people think If you told me you'd have to shoot me, right? Commercial-In-Confidence, correct? Oh well, at least they know where they stand in regards to that magic figure and can plan accordingly.

Mariners Memberships eclipse 2,000 Thursday, 28 June 2007 Mariners Members Mariners Members Action Sports Images / John Dewberry © Central Coast Mariners 64 days out from the first Hyundai A-League 2007/08 match at Bluetongue Central Coast Stadium, the Central Coast Mariners have eclipsed their season two Membership figures and surged past the 2,000 milestone. Saturday is the last day for existing and new Mariners Members to secure their exclusive earlybird Mariners Members calendar and also make sure that they keep their seats from last year. "We enjoy rewarding the support of our members every chance we get," said Mariners Executive Chairman Lyall Gorman. "So every Member who renews or signs up before Saturday receives an exclusive Mariners Members calendar. It’s just another way Members get the best ride. "With such high demand for Memberships this year we cannot stress enough that last season’s Members wishing to make sure they keep their seat renew before Saturday or they will miss out on their seat. "There are plenty of great seats still available; and new Members are snapping them up so we just cannot hold last season’s Members seats beyond Saturday." With a significant number of existing Mariners Members still to renew their Memberships for season three, the Mariners remain on course to achieve unprecedented Membership figures in 2007/08. Every Membership includes entry to each of the Mariners’ ten Hyundai A-League home matches and Pre-Season Cup home matches, as well as a host of exclusive benefits and special offers. Mariners Memberships for the Hyundai A-League 2007/08 season are now available for purchase online at www.ccmariners.com.au, or from Rebel Sports outlets at Erina and Tuggerah. © Central Coast Mariners

We just became members/season ticket holders for the first time. A family of 4.
I was getting free tickets from Settlers Pub (but having to spend $100 on piss to get em) for most games. The fact that we go to every game and the kids will only sit with marinators now and the fact the prices came down, were the deciding factors. That and the fact I want those Mariners trakky dacks for half price from rebel.
I'll be trying to recruit a few more so Fish will be happy to see a few faces from kariong.

Any updates on membership numbers? Last time I heard, the number had just gone through 2000, but that was a while ago....
