Let's see.....40 minutes or so to lunch........if I take a long lunch, then leave early.....bugger, still at least 3 hours in the office this afternoon....8PM kickoff - why so late, dammit!!!!
According to the Mariners site, the only confirmed absentees are O'Grady and McAndrew, so looks like Mile will be fine. Owens, Clarkie & Vidmar are a bit short of match practice.
I guess that'll mean Pondeljak in the playmaker/attacking midfielder role, and Boogaard in ahead of Viddie in defence.
Only 35 minutes to lunch.....

Did anyone see that bloke walking through Roseville and St Leonards in a Mariners shirt at about 6:30 this morning, having people hang out their car windows yelling anti-mariners crap at him??? I did. And I dont like it when people yell at me ;D Mmmmm, wonder what sort of comments I'll be getting tonight when I'm driving my bus in my Mariners jersey! MUFTI DAY ON THE BUSES (in support of our campaign for a better wage and conditions under a new Enterprise Agreement). Bearinator, people yell abuse at you in any case, you are just that kinda person that screams "Hit me!" ;D

Possible trouble....
Sydney FC may have two Brazilians lining up against Central Coast Mariners in the season opener at the Sydney Football Stadium Friday night after Brazilian Patrick Da Silva received his international clearance.
Sydney FC coach Branko Culina previews the A-League season on SBS Radio's World View program
With Juninho a confirmed starter, Patrick may take his place in the squad after his paperwork was processed in time despite doubts earlier in the week as to whether he would be made available in time.
Patrick arrived only last weekend and has been training with the club throughout the week.
Sydney FC coach Branko Culina told AAP that the pre-season loss to the Mariners means little ahead of the Round 1 meeting.
"We're on course for where want to be," he said.
"We've said all along that our aim was to get ready for the first game of the season, due to the fact that we played on for another three months after the A-League season had finished."
"Whilst pre-season was valuable exercise for many, for us it was a bit of a nuisance because we were forced to get straight into it when we were not physically or numerically ready for it."
"We said 'alright we'll forsake the pre-season for the sake of getting ourselves ready for the season itself'. And we're ready."
Socceroos star Mark Milligan, who has been battling an illness, was also expected to start.
