Possible trouble.... Sydney FC may have two Brazilians lining up against Central Coast Mariners in the season opener at the Sydney Football Stadium Friday night after Brazilian Patrick Da Silva received his international clearance. Sydney FC coach Branko Culina previews the A-League season on SBS Radio's World View program With Juninho a confirmed starter, Patrick may take his place in the squad after his paperwork was processed in time despite doubts earlier in the week as to whether he would be made available in time. Patrick arrived only last weekend and has been training with the club throughout the week. Sydney FC coach Branko Culina told AAP that the pre-season loss to the Mariners means little ahead of the Round 1 meeting. "We're on course for where want to be," he said. "We've said all along that our aim was to get ready for the first game of the season, due to the fact that we played on for another three months after the A-League season had finished." "Whilst pre-season was valuable exercise for many, for us it was a bit of a nuisance because we were forced to get straight into it when we were not physically or numerically ready for it." "We said 'alright we'll forsake the pre-season for the sake of getting ourselves ready for the season itself'. And we're ready." Socceroos star Mark Milligan, who has been battling an illness, was also expected to start. good news a player who has just stepped off the plane, has no fitness, is an unknown and has no idea about team tactics |

I Agree Melb are our biggest club...but theyare no Man utd either...
Imagine Muscat playing in that proud strip!!!
Was watching muscat last night on totall football....
Im really looking forward to another season of hating Muscat!!!
