and in the pub. I remember when we were living down there and quite a few came down to watch the semin final (what a weekend that was!) we all went in the pub and began the chanting. The chant that had them all falling about laughing and even joining in was ''bodies in a barrell...........you put your bodies in a barrell" Awesome it was.

likely linup would have to be
.....................Danny Clark.......Boogs......Vidmar........Heff Gumps.......Jedi........Hutch.......Kwas .................Sasho.....Mori
We'll be in for a tough game, the 1 thing I think on our side would have to be no Valkanis for Adelaide, I just hope Djite has another 1 of his donkey games (he is Heskey in disguise).
I'm going for 1-1, Mori or Kwas to find the net.

After looking at the squads, the likely line-up will be:
..................Danny Clark...Boogs...Vidmar...Heff Gumps....Jedi.....Hutch....Kwassy .............Sasho.....Mori
Bench: Trott Smitta Owens/Brown Pondeljak
I wouldn't be surprised to see Mile Jedinak sit a bit deeper than usual in this game, just to make sure that Nathan Burns gets no space or time on the ball. Burns is the obvious and most deadly threat to our defence, and Mile could find himself in a position with a lot to do. I think the result of this little "mini-battle" will go a long way in deciding the eventual winner of the game.
Just like Jedinak, Boogard potentially has a lot of problems to face, whilst marking Bruce Djite.. I think the majority of this contest between them will be fought in the air. With the likes of Kristian Sarkies, Richie Alagich and Cassio (These 3 players lead the competition for "completed crosses") on the field, there is going to be a bucket load of balls put into the area. While Bruce Djite and Paul Agostino will undoubtedly be the main targets for those crosses. If either of them can find their shooting boots, we could be in trouble.
Although he is yet to find the same form he had in pre-season, Cassio also poses a big threat. As I said before he has a brilliant crossing ability and if given any time on the ball, he can cause a lot of trouble to the back four. To stop the runs of Brazilian it will be up to Clarkey and the tracking back from Gumprecht, who IMO could maybe do a bit more defensive work, than attacking.
In saying that, I still think we will get a result out of this game. I'm thinking a 1-1 draw with Bruce Djite scoring for Adelaide and Damian Mori opening is account for this season.

I think your formation is spot on. Gumps has been playing more defensive this season, this will continue i think, providing clarke with support. I think kwassie will also have to watch heff's runs to make sure room does not open up on the flanks.

I think we'll get at least a draw. 'Monty' Burns is their biggest threat and we have the best weapon in the league to stop him in Jedi. They will rely on crosses from Richie and Cassio as you said Andy, but Cassio in particular has a lot to prove in my opinion. He gets up and down well but doesn't stand out from the A-League in quality terms (other than being Brazilian ). His 'trademark' free kicks have been mostly disappointing. In saying that he will probably score an outstanding one against us. With Sash, Mori and Kwas down the other end I think we are irresistible and it looks like they might be without Costanzo as well as Valkanis - we should score goals if we get a share of the ball. Play like we did in Melbourne and we will win.

Another bloody Sunday for Adelaide sport Let's hope our boys can take Adelaide apart as clinically as Geelong did to Power yesterday. That would then end their weekend of misery. GO MARINERS.
