I think you misunderstand, I was definitely not having "a go" at anyone at anytime in this thread.

We all have opinions on team selections and I have not been backward in expressing some that are definitely out of left field (see comments regarding inside lefts etc). FFS that is the main reason for a forum.

I include myself when I state that Lawrie is the best suited of all the comments on this forum.

My comment was to say that whatever our theorising I have complete faith in the Gaffer.

Even if it sounds that way I am definitely not being a grumpy old bastard this time.

Anyway, of course my opinion has not always agreed with the Gaffer and I have stated:
I do not agree with him playing Kwassy up front at any time and I do not agree that the right is his best side.
I am concerned that Hutch is not enough of a playmaker for the role he is in and would like to see either Gumps, Tommy or Owens.
I think Browny is better suited in a defensive role than attacking.

Now that I think about it you will make me a Grumpy old.......

No, just that you have always been one of the most knowledgeable posters on the forum...but you know it. ;D
