1-1. Don't know who scored!!!!!!!! #22 Saso Petrovski from a scrum and scramble in the 6 yard box. We're not playing all tat well. Wonder how long before Andre will be introduced. Brownie has had a couple of golden opportunities but squandered them. 45 minutes to get the best possible result. Slack marking at the back when the cross came over by Clarkey. Got to get some mongrel in the midfield

I see Viddy picked up his second yellow before the Barrel Boys scored, looking on the bright side of life least the Bogans lost.

Sounded like a poor performance from the mariners judging by the radio broadcast - and that Adelaide deserved to win... Think this would be a wake-up call - we barely did anything in attack - where's Gumprecht and Tommy, our major playmakers, or Owens, who would have known Adelaide's team a fair bit? Subbed on with only 20 minutes and less left... Our defence will be bare as Vidmar again got sent off - and will Osman be back? Will this mean Mackinna will finally play a back 3 formation? Hopefully Mrdja will be back as well, and that we lift our game for next week's derby, that's become even more cruical.

Viddy's first yellow was not. I'm proud of their commitment and we played OK but if we don't score our chances that is what will happen.

Viddys expierence and composure has gone out the window lately. needs a bit of a chat with lawrie i reckon. I thought Brownys goal saving tackle was absolutly outstanding, even though his other 60 minutes was fairly poor. Sahso was quiet, mori was running everywhere and sasho looked asleep for most of the game. Breeze had a Sh*t game. not only his controversial decision that saved us a goal but was leaning alot to adelaide in the 1st half and protected beltrame like a prized pie in the 2nd half. overall hoping that were getting the lose out of the way before THE DERBY!!!!.

Despite the result, I think we played very well. IMO, going to Adelaide is the hardest trip to get a result in the league.
Viddie was again a collossus. If he's not the best defender in the A-Leauge than I don't know who is. His First yellow should never have been given.
It may sound like a strange comment, but tonight's performance proved to me once and for all we are the real deal. Outstanding commitment from all the boys.
I feel sick in the guts losing but if we keep up that type of performance we have nothing to worry about.
I think we have just seen the two teams to play out the grand final (at Bluetongue).
How good was Djite and Burns? You have to give them credit. They were fantastic. I can't wait to seem them both in outr national team. I'm yet to see a better prospect than Burns since Viduka. At the same age, he is miles ahead of where Emerton was.
Don't forget we're still 4 points ahead of the scum and based on tonights effort, we'll beat them.

I could handle a Adelaide vs CCM final at bluetongue. As good as boogs/mile are burns carved them like a roast chicken, should be overseas in the next year.

Adelaide had the first 30 minutes or so and than we controlled the game

No problems in losing that game at all. As many have said, an Adelaide/CCM grand final would be rather excellent.
On a negative note - f*ck Matthew Breeze, TERRIBLE refereeing for both sides concerned (the first Vidmar yellow card, the disallowed Adelaide goal, 2 penalties for us not given, BLAH BLAH BLAH). If the FFA had any balls he would be suspended for next week.
Anyway, would much rather lose today than next week - however, more than proud of the boys. Still 4 clear at the top!!!

You're right serious14, a lot to be proud of.
If we keep up tonight's effort, we'll get the plate and the toilet seat.
Adelaide a are bloody good side. Won't be many teams go there and get a result this season.
I couldn't understand Lawrie taking off Browny, I thought he was excellent tonight.
