Reading their forum very briefly they seem to think we claim to have taken 5k fans to EAS before, and as an average, can't say I remember seeing that claim on here! Best crowd we have taken there was around 3k for the semi final in V1. Which was approximately the amount of jets fans who travelled to your ground earlier in the season after Mckinna labelled the jets fans bad travellers. Sure shut him up ;D If you guys can get half of what we got to your ground on this Sunday it will be a very good effort!

Id swap Clark for Porter for this one DJ. Porter has be outstanding, but this is a BIG game, and 1 moment of uncertainty could cost us the points. Clark is older and more experienced, which for this game is what we need in our backs. If Gumps is not 100% put Porter at right mid, but I believe we need Clark out there for this one. doesn't bother me who plays there as long as they do the job! Smitta has done well last 2 or 3 games, would seem unfair to drop him. Big game I agree but Smitta has gained some conifdence over the past few weeks and I believe he can do the job.

Definitely tell it's derby week lol Only took you 3 seasons to get it right ;D Lawrie achieved what he wanted to, a derby atmosphere and bums on seats. Jets had 3k at Bluetongue easily, it was a great turnout and added to the atmosphere of the game (with the exception of sum f***witts that we have discussed before) I would also be happy to have 2k Mariners fans scattered around the ground, and depending on the weather see no reason why we won't have that!

lol try and get the guy on this forum named greenpole to admit that we had 3k there. Yeh depending on the weather am expecting a pretty decent turn-out from you guys also should be a good showing from the jets faithful.
Im abit worried cause we haven't lost to you guys in awhile so one may be due but I reckon the loss of Jedinak and also Pondeljak is really gonna take its toll and I can see a draw coming out of this game.
The good thing about a derby is that you should be able just to throw away the form guide because results in previous weeks mean nothing and whoever turns up on the day will come away with the 3 points.

The better thing is that the week after, the form guide becomes relevant again and we'll still be top of the league and you wont. ;D

Frikking Shield....
Shouldn't he be reffing MV or SFC???
Hmm....I work until 4 on Sun....it's gonna be tight making it for kickoff...
We're going to miss Tommy P and Jedi badly in this match.....God I hope we've figured out how to feed good balls through to our front line after last week's performance...

Of course is will be Shields.
Biggest game of the Week deserves the best ref. Cant wait for this one. Gunna be a tough on for bout sides.
Jets to win and send the 18K strong crowd nuts
Good luck lads

Of course is will be Shields. Biggest game of the Week deserves the best ref. That really doesn't explain why we have Shield ;-) Haha, couldn't resist. No, you're right. FFA will appoint the number 1 ref to the number 1 game. Not quite sure what their criteria for the number 1 game is though - considering he was appointed to a 5v6 clash when there was a 1v2 clash a few weeks ago.
