10 000 is way too optimistic in my opinion, ive already spoken to five people that arent going coz of the rain, thats just me, id imagine almost everyone here would know atleast 5 more people that arent gonna go now, i predict 7k crowd max

Bad conditions would be a Category 5 Cyclone, this is but a mere drizzle. Harden up people.

What are the logistics of postponing the game?
At least it is a derby so transport is not an issue for travelling team.
If they have not fixed the drainage system, and this rain continues there will be puddles all over the place making the pitch unsuitable as it was when we played Roar last year.
Will cost the Mariners at least 8000 bums on seats. $100K plus.

cant see it being postponed - rain has eased.
8-9k i reckon but could be surprised if the rain stays away

I thought the drainage at Bluetongue was fixed prior to this season? Either way if it can't stand up to the rain that has fallen I would be veru surprised.

Well if the game is to be played on dec 21st we will Imo have a much stronger line up our injurys /suspensions cant be much worse then they are now. By then hutch and sash will be on fresh starts for there yellow count. tommy /gumps/ browny /kwaz/ boogs and heff barring re injury of course will all be in much better condition by then. Its inevitable we will have a new injury concern or 2 by then but i think we'll be the strongest we've looked in a long time. I really hope they don't try and re scheduale match to be mid week with regular fixtures either side of the match 3games in a week would leave us very depleted imo. The week off also makes us much stronger going into qld yes we'll still have the suspensions but everybody who is in "ify" condition will be fresher.
Also alot of people will be having time off work for chrizzymess by then so maybe a mid week spectical could possibly be just what the doc ordered for the coast fans to get off there ass'es and get to a game.
