Jardel and Zdrilic. What a potent- sorry i mean impotent - strike force that would be. We could probably get them both for $1 but it would be a waste of money. ;D

We could probably get them both for $1 but it would be a waste of money. ;D You'd use them as cannon fodder for when Muscat plays in the backs - let him wear himself out hacking those 2 to bits, then when he starts to git tired, sub them both off for a real striker  I'd be happy to see him come here, because when Tommy's off the field, we have no creativity in attacking midfield. Hutcho is prone to the occasional moment of sublime support, but we need somebody who does it regularly - and without that kind of support, our strikers aren't really being as deadly as they could (should?) be. The biggest downside to him is that he doesn't defend. Seriously, he's as lazy as they come. At least Sasho will chase down the bloke who took the ball and hack him! Seriously though, would somebody who stands around counting seagulls the moment he loses the ball really fit in with our overall team structure? I don't think so. Regardless, it's all academic - the whole thing reaked of BS right from the start. |

ROFL.......Zdrilic anywhere near the Mariners???!!!!! Would rather see McKinna himself playing up front for us!
As for Yorkie Bar, this one has been doing the rounds for so long now....I'd take it with more than a grain of salt, and would rather see us use our salary cap for hanging onto Jedinak & Aloisi.

The guy is still scoring in the Premier League
He would still be well and truly up to the A-League standard
Anyone who thinks he would come here and not be up to standard, or to slow for the league is kidding themselfs
The A-League is not as high a standard as a lot of people think
Am I the only one who thinks a partnership of Yorke and Aloisi up front would be f***ing great? Id sure as hell prefer that to Ante "my hammy is f***ed" milicic and "the zdrillic of QLD" Reinaldo
