why, yes it is.. posts have been a bit thin of late, but i dont pretend to have an opinion or interest in all things football, just AU and (when I get playing) local football. I believe we both like radio coverage...hear hear!

We won 4-3, went 1-0 down then scored 4 before they fought back, but that keeps us on top of the comp, unless Kariong won by more than 4 goals. Apparently our strikers were a bit rusty, but we had a really good 2-goal spell after half time of just passing to foot and moving it around before we fell asleep a bit and got tired - very hot out there, but then it didn't stop Gosford pressing us in the same period. Their second and third goals were really our mistakes, but then the ball's got to be that close to our goal to score, so there you go. I tell you what, playing two and three touch at training really sharpens up a team's movement on and off the ball - now for some stamina. Hilly saved the day with our fourth that he took on the left, then ran in to their goal-line before scoring from a tight angle after deano drew the goalie out just enough by lurking out on the right. Go SEU!

hooray we actually won a game sloopy game we got up 2-1 against umina at umina at 9AM which was a mission for me as i was in sydney still drinking at 545 had to catch the train at like 615 bugger all sleep i was a mess. LOl i did a diving header at a ball that was like 1foot off the ground it wasnt pretty ah well at least my head was there to break the fall for my body   P.S CONGRATS OURIMBAH 5's how many goals u up to now supafish any news om lil sonics knee  |

We suffered our first loss, 2-1 in the 9am kickoff at Mountains. Not bad for a tough away trip against one of the better sides in the comp.
2-0 at half time, we had been playing well and really stepped things up but all we could muster was a pen. from yours truly. My first competitive goal in quite some time.
Good to hear you got off to a winning start Wayne (that was your first game back right?)

I'm not in Central Coast but what the hell ill post my results hear aswell.
Under 15s - 4-1 win. player sent off for saying F word to ref because he didnt give an obvious penalty then once he sent the player off he gave the penalty very wierd.
Under 19s 3-2 loss. came on as a sub at 50 min mark. i played left wing for the first time ever and hit crossbar twice. very entertaining game though.

Gos Womens AA3S went down to top of the table Kariong 2-0. Half time saw the scores level at 0 all. Shortly into the 2nd half I almost knocked myself out when one of my through balls ricoched off a Kariong player straight into my face, and the game went downhill from there.
Congrats to Kariong WAA4s for a great game against Avoca.

gosford WAA4s had a tough game against woy woy. we managed to win 4-3. have to say everytime i see the kariong girls play they just keep getting better

Dibo is that not the same team that was destroying the comp for the first few weeks and had you questioning the grading system well... we're now p 5, w 3, d 0, l 2, f 23, a 6, p 9 we couldn't buy a goal today. we couldn't keep them out last week. we switched to a 3-5-2 today, utterly destroyed the midfield in the second half and could not actually pop one in. we had too much pace, the passing crisp, good movement and composure that went down the shitter as soon as we had sight of goal. the team we lost to were 3rd last, so we're no longer top i suspect. |
