Our defenders are playing up front while our attackers are playing defence.

Gos WAA3s will be Kincumber this weekend at the lovley time of 2.45pm which means I won't be able to watch the Gos Div 1 mens game as they play at the same time. As Gos WAA3s have no chance of making the top 4 we're just out there to have fun, which is what we always do anyway.

We, Budgie AA7, have to win this weekend against Doyalson and hope that Kariong only pick up a point at the most from their last 2 games. They are playing the top 2 so fingers crossed. Big thanks also to Eggba and the Kanwal boys who showed up at the weekend to lend us their support. Hope you enjoyed the game. lol

We play Woy Woy (at woy woy, 9:15) for the first time in what's also a meaningless clash.
I think we're going to be drawing the positions out of a hat.

Anyway well done on getting closer then us.

SEU AA5 went down 2-0 at home to Kincumber. It was a close game in the first-half and we were rather unlucky not to take a lead into the break, but at 0-0, the game was on..
However, Kincumber's pace and slick passing proved too much in the second stanza, although we certainly had our chances to take the points in atrocious conditions.
We now wait for the result of the Woy Woy-Terrigal game. If Woy Woy draw or lose, we will guarantee or spot in the top four.

Bad news for you then - Woy Woy won 2-1.
Man, that was miserable weather. Woy Woy were coming off a big night out, and they were just all fired up to have a bit of fun. Whereas we weren't really fired up for much of anything....

That will make next weeks results very interesting then. Woy Woy will be 3 points behind us and our for and against is +4 better than theres.

Just to confirm for you, Eggba, Budgewoi AA7 got an 8-2 win over Doyalson today and I got my first goal for the season. Not a bad return - that's a goal every three games.

We played half a game in torrential rain. I had to come off after 5 mins because water got in my eyes and had moved my contacts so I couldn't see a thing!! Went back on not long after. It was the longest 40mins in my life. The ref was the Avoca WAA4's coach. At half time, our coach suggested to their coach that we call it off due to the ground being a safety hazard. He said no and wanted to keep playing because they needed the points to get to the semis.
After much arguing (thanks Mick) we eventually left. Not sure what the final out come will be.
Now we only have one game left to try and win......fingers crossed.
P.S Thanks to Dru and T for coming to support us in those horrible conditions.
