Bridge claims he & musalik are being made look like dogs by Con, saying a get out clause was not offered in the new contracts as Con is claiming to back up his disloyalty bull dung.
If correct, Con has set a new low in employee relations. What a happy place that club must be.

Bridge ain't been offered $150k by us lol, more like he wants $150k from whoever he goes to. Even $130k for him is over the top IMO considering our salary cap. Sydney will be stupid enough to pay it That's similar to what I had heard as well. $130,000 is way too much to pay for Bridge IMO.

Mmmmmm, like all those other teams he's torn a new one against....... Oh wait. He's been a non-entity all season mate, and I don't see him starting to become a problem now - he can barely keep his arm attached to his body. To be honest, I think they're a better team when he's not on the park. Best waste of A-League money ever.

To be honest, I think they're a better team when he's not on the park. Best waste of A-League money ever. i haven't seen all of sydney's matches, but: against us in round 1 he was basically pulling all their strings, against both adelaide and newcastle it was his killer balls that set up brosque, against perth (for the 3-3 a few weeks back) he was the conduit for most of sydney's good movement (and despite the critics they had quite a bit that night) and he's had other times where he's had the imagination to play a ball that the talays of the world couldn't dream of even if they were tripping. he's not a bad player in the slightest, and more importantly when he's on the park brosque is a much better player. brosque hasn't scored while juninho's been off the park. but everyone else plays smarter balls when they're having the good example set for them. if you watch sydney closely, most of the time when he's on they're more willing to hang onto the ball and play angles, when he's off they rush too much at the flanks and play crosses to nowhere. he actually makes them a better team.

I have to agree with Mark Bridge when he says everything with the club is played out in the media. It is a very amateur way to run things and if he leaves Con should take a hard look at the way he does business

Jaza: Like most fans Serious doesn't let facts ruin his point having said that neither do I so I'm not going to bag him for it. Exactly Bear - Can't believe Cockerill wrote an article praising the bastard.

He's been a non-entity all season mate, Seen Sydney play? You're in 5th. Seriously, for everyone's (well, Sydney's) wanking on about Juninho, what has it done for them?? He didn't bring in the crowds that he was tipped to, and for a player of his supposed calibre, four assists is poor - and the end result of all this one million dollar magnificence is Sydney FC being placed FIFTH on the table. Not really a gun investment....... His whinging about no protection from the referees was pathetic as well - play to the rules sunshine, not what you _think_ the rules should be. And before you retort Jaza with something about Jedinak being the new Muscat, please find me footage of one tackle of his that you would deem reckless, dangerous, or flat out violent. Bear in mind that he never whinges to the referee either - and if he's taken a dive all season, then I must have missed it. Man I'll be happy when Sydney miss the four....... P.S. We played like absolute shit against Sydney, they played the best they've played since Season 1, and they only just put us away. Says it all really.

Looks like jardel is being rewarding with a "stay at home allowance" for his 9.6 beep test after 4 months training. www.theherald.com.au/articles/2007/11/15/1194766869337.html`We know it's going to be very, very hot over there I think it's forecast as 35, 36 degrees for Saturday, Sunday and Monday so we have to make sure that people who are going to be involved in the game are physically very fit players.'' When asked if Jardel fitted into that category, van Egmond admitted he did not.

if a 9.6 number on a beep test is bad - what is a good number? The fittest, but not many, do low 15's. I'd expect, & any coach would expect all pro footballers to be a min. of high 13's- low 14's in their midseason. Most elite teenagers can do at least 13's with the fitter guys doing high 14's. 9.6 is exremely poor, for even a part time footballer. add....GVE said most of his squad did 14's That's close to a fast walk I think the police force entrance expectation is even lower.
