Re: that beep test gear from the last page - Brett Emerton finished the beep test and was still going hard at the end of it. Apparently not too many sportsmen in Australia have been able to do that at the level and speed he does........ certainly gives credence to the oft quoted statement that he is the fittest sportsmen in Australia.

P.S. Yes, Newcastle suck. WHY have they not gone "wow, we have the largest coal port in the world in terms of volume and all the rest of it, and there's all these massive Chinese companies buying up our product - let's be sponsored by one of them 'cause it ties into our new life in the AFC and all that". But hey, that would make sense.
