Good to get the win. They need to improve the woefull finishing though. The finish from the second goal was very dodgy. Lucky the keeper wasn't that good. Brazil thumped New Zealand 5-0, and there were some brilliant strikes from long range.

Agree crap firts half no midfield, but second half well what a difference a break makes or what a difference Lisa De Vanna makes.
Is she fast or what and her crosses, for me the difference and why we won apart from her goal, remember she hit the post after making a great break as well.
Well done Matildas

First half was atrocious with every second pass given away. Second was a different game with the squads two best strikers by a mile brought on. Why he didnt start them I don't know. Norway would have been on the back foot from the start.

The game tonight has just been postponed 24 hours. www.canadasoccer.com/eng/index.asp FIFA has moved back both of todays matches to 20 September because of the Wipha typhoon that has hit Shanghai. FIFA announced yesterday that matches 21 (Norway-Ghana in Shanghai) and 24 (Brasil-Denmark in Hangzhou) were rescheduled to 20 September in Hangzhou. Todays announcement moves matches 22 (Canada-Australia in Chengdu) and 23 (China-New Zealand in Hangzhou) back one day to 20 September to fall in line with the other two matches. Both the Canadian and Australian teams were notified of the schedule change roughly two hours before kick off. Neither the coaches or the players from either team had left the hotel for the stadium, although both sides already had team members at the pitch preparing the dressing rooms and benches when the news broke.
