I was told that Dibo is even worse as he works on the brain instead of the body. 5 mins with him & you'll be handing out pamphets at a polling booth. Now that's scary. at least he won't have rats gnawing at our brains 1+1 = 3

Speaking of 1+1=3, ( & not to take the tread elsewhere) did anyone notice Bush quote " Mandela has died, Mandela has left us" in a public comment of sympathy regarding the passing away of Marcel Marceau? BTW...I'd hand out pamphets this election if it helped oust the "little Menzies".

Good lad and squadron in the same sentence, not often you see that :-) Talking to some scum S/T holders in the week and the club have had yet more complaints about you guys being in Bay 2 Timmy. If you go alright this year and the Newcastle public want to go - expect push back from the club. Only tell it as it is lads. Yer its a real shame about these people complaining. They also complain to us directing . They see me as the leader casue im on the Mega and tell me what they think of squadron and where we should be. Most of them are new to game and dont understand what were about. The Newcastle Kinights also tried to shut us down. But the Jets should by us and we have there word that squadron will remain in bays 1 and 2 until the Stadium is completed. When we will move behind the goals. See what happens i guess lol

If you go alright this year and the Newcastle public want to go - expect push back from the club. Only tell it as it is lads. Yeah its a real shame about these people complaining. They also complain to us directly . They see me as the leader cause I'm on the Megaphone and tell me what they think of squadron and where we should be. Most of them are new to game and don't understand what we're about. The Newcastle Knights also tried to shut us down. But the Jets stood by us and we have their word that the squadron will remain in bays 1 and 2 until the Stadium is completed. When we will move behind the goals. See what happens i guess lol Correct me if I'm wrong timmyv, quotient or newieutd but didn't the squadron get there own ticket class this year for bays 1 and 2? I doubt they'll move you anytime this year if it is the case although may be revised for next season. I don't know if I would be holding my breath for the stadium to be completed. EDIT: That post hurt my eyes. I've fixed a few things up timmyv, hopefully it's still in context!

Long story but here is the main bit of it.
In versions 1 and 2 the Jets rented the stadium of the Knights. All profits from food and drink went to knights the rest the Jets took. The jets werent allowed and sponsor signage on the stadium and they controlled the Security used.
Well no real problems in Version 1 as the Squadron was only a small group. But as we started to grow in Version 2 something got out of hand as we grew. IE rubbish in drains, Broken seats and fences. People drinking to much etcc.. So half way thru the season we have a meeting with the knights security and the Jets about how to make sure all parties were happy. Basically security and the knights wanted all confetti, drums, banners, large flags and the standing in bay 2 to stop. They basically just sat us there and yes this is wat the rules are and demanded that we and the Jets agree to it. Well we didnt. told them that we would control the squadron and fix the issues regarding the squadron ourselves. And Jets were to Work with security.
The main pusher behind closing the Squadron, was a man by the name of Ken Conway. Old Knights CEO. With him gone and the ISC trust ( People that owe EAS) realizing what the Jets can bring to Newcastle and the Stadium. ( further money for developing etc..) And with new heads running the security, the ISC Trust, jets and Ourselves have worked together on, how we can work together for years to come.
Could go on with some more but thats the main bit of it

yer this is true
Bays 1 and 2 are known as Squadron bays. We are currently just in bay 2 atm, but its pretty much full and we will start to over flow into bay 1 very soon.
We wont be moving until there is a suitable place for us to go. Which will be when the ends are developed to the stadium.
When the Newcastle public start to attend alot more then they currently do. The Jets will open the Top level of the Newi Stadium up. IT is normally only open when we have a crowd or more then 15K
Thanks for fixing my post up Dru lol wish i re read it after typing it

But dont the EAS hate Cons guts and want him out ?? Don't believe anything you read in the papers. AS you know Newcastle is a rugby League town, even tho our crowds are starting to equal or be greater then theres. When Jets first Came up knights were only team in Newcastle so we were treated as second class to them. But after the success that Football is getting in Australia and all this talk about holding the World Cup etc They can see the Jets getting them the money needed to expand the stadium and all that shit

Which i think is what he's trying to say in the blog you guys take from the jets in many ways but it is not as tangible the arrangement with the sports club and the benefits received being one case in point

I'm watching this answer I remember a very big banner that the jest club were going to pay for last season till they got the shits with the squadron about bad behaviour? The club supplied "free" bus to the ground? Special squadron members beer prices at Con's club? Anything more? And your squadron dog tags that the club sells for you that has to have FFA approval? Why do you do that BTW, instead of selling it through the squadron?
