im vry worried bout me beloved leeds...just remember the days of kewell, viduka, keane, ferdinand, matteo, woodgate, milner, smith, fowler, harte and robinson....among others.... the pain is too much! see your problem there is that you're harking back to a time when the place was run by the sort of people whose concept of numbers was shaky at best - for example signing seth johnson on a larger salary than he offered to play for... oh no mr johnson, you couldn't play for just £20,000 per week, we'd better make that £35,000... see here...

Dark day for me, Leeds losing to Luton, had Dad parading around all day in his Luton Town strip, f*** Leeds are hopeless, WE'RE SHIT AND WE KNOW WE ARE! Who ever takes control has one hell of a job to do just to get mid table safety Leeds worst ever finish (excluding the war leagues, because I have no bloody idea how to compare those on the current football league pyramid) was in the 1947-48 Season when they finished 18th in Second Division (the current Championship) I hate to say it but 2006-07 could be worse.

Swindon have given boss Dennis Wise permission to talk to Championship strugglers Leeds about their managerial vacancy, reports BBC Radio Leeds. Leeds have been without a boss since sacking Kevin Blackwell in September.
Ex-England midfielder Wise took charge at Swindon in May following their relegation to League Two, and they won their first six league games under him.
Robins chairman Willie Carson admitted last month that he would allow Wise to speak to Leeds if they requested it.
Swindon are now third in League Two, three points behind leaders Walsall.
Since Blackwell's departure, coach John Carver has been in caretaker charge at Elland Road.
However, he conceded after their recent 4-0 home defeat by Stoke that his chances of landing the job permanently had probably ended.
Wise has been continually linked with Leeds after spending many years as a player under United chairman Ken Bates at Chelsea.

If it wasnt for the fact that they are run by Papa Smurf (master bates) I would feel sorry for them.
As he is the guy who introduced Roman to football we shall call it Karma

Leeds complete a Wise move.
Dennis Wise and his assistant Gus Poyet have been confirmed as the new management team at Leeds United.
The ex-Chelsea duo have linked up with chairman Ken Bates after a successful start to the season with Swindon Town.
They have built on a solid foundation at the County Ground and have given the club a real chance of promotion.
But the dream offer of a Championship club like Leeds, was too good for Wise to turn down, and though there had been some financial wranglings between the two parties, the Elland Road board have concluded an agreement with the League Two side.
"A compensation package has been agreed between the two clubs and Swindon Town have placed on record their thanks to Leeds United for the professional manner in which they made their approaches," a club statement read.
"Dennis will take over as manager of the club from Wednesday October 25 and will be assisted by Gus. Andrew [Beasley] joins us as a goalkeeping coach with immediate effect."
Wise is already understood to have met with the players at training on Tuesday and will get his first look at his new team in their Carling Cup third round game at home to Southend United.
Pre-empting the announcement, Bates discussed the appointments in his programme notes for the match.
"After much deliberation the unanimous choice was Dennis Wise and his assistant Gus Poyet," Bates declared.
"I am aware that he may not be everybody's cup of tea but this is not a popularity contest.
"It is a question of the right man to resolve a serious situation."
Leeds have made an appalling start to the season so far, after Kevin Blackwell and then caretaker manager John Carver both failed to lift the team out of their slump.
Carver has now left the club following the 5-1 defeat at Luton Town on Saturday as reserve team boss Dave Geddis takes charge for the Southend tie.
Leeds currently stand 23rd in the Championship, just a point clear of bottom side Hull City, and will welcome the Shrimpers back to Elland Road on Saturday, for Wise's first official game at the helm.
