rome wasn't built in a day and chelsea was built overnite with the millions from roman.
so now that they are not at the top of ladder, and their big name players are not producing the goods - all hell is breaking loose in the colleseum of the romans.
this is great to see and it also shows how much money it takes it doesn't get the trophies. big deal on winning the premiership - if you had all that clout you expect to win.
to win the CL - well not there yet and will never get it.
to win over commoners as fans - no way ! to much money and plus they want all the good players who are only their for the money and not the pride of the shirt.
the coach - has no backbone and is already to jump ship - either inter milan, ac milan and also real madrid interested, but when you have the players you have of course you are a going to look good. but when you don't or they aren't on the pitch and you are loosing - where's the escape route - the coach jumps ship. also his relationship with sheva and roman is apparently non existent with the persistent rumours that sheva is the problem with the teams form at the present time. well if that is the case loan him out to a minnow team like fulham (no offence greenpole) and see what he does, obviously he would score goals for the other mortals would pass him the ball.
but all of this is just great to see and hear and hopefully the empire will crumble. Lets see what happens when (as much as i hate to say this but it wil happen this year) man u pick up the silverware and it will be thoroughly deserved.
so if anyone else wants to put the boot into chelsea please do. because money doesn't win trophies - only a team that wants to win it will

It's not the first time this has happened either. Remeber Blackburn Kenny Dagliesh and Jack Walker, Newcastle Kevin Keegan and Freddy Sheppard, Leeds David O'Leary and Peter Risdale, even Real Madrid and the 7 managers and 4 different presidents in the last 4 years have won sweet FA. Now it's Chelsea (rent Boys) Jose and the con man Russian known as Roman. At the end of the day, money can build a team, but it's not a given that the team will win major trophys. To win trophys you need a combination of hard working players, good stability, and a bit of luck along the way. As for it happening to Chelsea, it couldn't happen to a better team, well apart form those bitter blues (City) and the theiving scousers (Liverpool). The sooner Roman the con man gets out of Chelsea, the sooner the silly prices for medicore players will come down and the wages demanded by their over inflated ego's will stop hitting silly amounts.

Despite Chelsea's struggles, it still took Mourinho until 17 minutes from time to introduce £30m misfit Andriy Shevchenko at the expense of the anonymous Mikel Jon Obi.
another quote by bbc on how good sheva is to the epl!!!!!

Watched the game last night, Robben limped of after 20 mins after jumping for a header and losing out. But by that time it was all over red rover. No Carvalho, poor lad a fever, cech was back, but not back to his best. As for the rest of them, very poor. JM said "they attacked our weakness with 2 big strikers and we only had small defenders", who's fault is that then I wonder.

We dont need that Russian misfit, we have Montella...........oh ok, we will give him a run if they pay his wages :-)
Good article in a recent Aussie 442 about Real Madrid dismantling the Galactico model as it didnt work..........seems Roman is a slow learner (well its not his money is it??)
If you gave me 200mil I reckon I could have a good go at winning the EPL. Get him to manage a club like ours and see how he goes then.

But Manchester United, Arsenal & Liverpool are all still wealthy clubs, they're just jealous that someone else has money too.
NB: I am NOT a Chelsea supporter but I am sick of all this crap.

NB: I am NOT a Chelsea supporter but I am sick of all this crap. man u's present prosperity is partly bought by large gates, international merchandising and big sponsorships (no arguments there) and the less attractive motherlode of debt that glazer has put in the club's name. chelsea's prosperity pretty much comes from outright theft from the people of russia - abramovich is simply one of the criminal class of 21st century robber barons who stripped the assets of the former soviet union and privatised them, denying the working people of russia a stake in the assets built off their sweat and blood. even ten years ago they were a club that were flattered to make the semis of the cup winners cup, played in front of so-so crowds and basically never challenged for supremacy in english football. leeds were better than them. arsenal i honestly don't know enough about, so won't comment. liverpool have attracted investors with serious amounts of actual cash (not debt) and a history of investing in and developing sporting teams. i don't like that they called the club the liverpool reds in the initial press conference, i don't like that they're from the same class of texan oil moneymen as the bush family, but i do like that they're committing their own money, are going to build the new ground and they're keen to finance activity in the transfer market. chelsea truly is the worst of that lot.

I'm not saying Chelsea are 'good' but they're all wealthy clubs. If someone came to your club with that kind of money would you refuse because you'd be "buying the premiership"?

That's no where near as bad as when Javier Mascherano stated that he was delighted to become a Red Devil, just after he was signed by Liverpool.
