Maybe she goes to sleep stright after her match if she is wearing a nightie but sharapova needs to stop screaming when she its the ball its really annoying

I will be steering clear of Yellowbeard at the Kendall Bar next week. Shite commentry just then on fox sports 'the Australian Open is one of the best sporting events in the world'. It's not even the best in Tennis! Best in Australia I could maybe take (although the commie games are on) but the world, come off it. The Commonwealth games are the worlds most unimportant event ever, no-one cares about Zimbabwe v Northern Ireland battling it out in Lawn bowls

I'm sure A-Rod doesn't mind the screaming, but I still think Hantuchova is hotter

Australia should break up into states to add some level of compertion

Clearly that's why Australia cares so much about it, when was the last time we won a medal in the olympic marathon let alone did the trifecta?

The sport is athletics, I don't run on a track at all it's not track & field, the Marathons and walks aren't on the track very much.
Australian Olympic Athletics Gold Medalists Edwin Flack 1500m & 800m (1896) - First ever Australian gold medal Anthony Winter Hop, step & Jump (1924) John Winter High Jump (1948) Marjorie Jackson 100m & 200m (1952) Shirley Srickland 80m hurdles (1952 & 1956) Betty Cuthbert 100m & 200m (1956), 400m (1964) Womens 4x100m Relay (1956) Herb Elliott 1500m (1960) Ralph Doubell 800m (1968) Maureen Caird 80m hurdles (1968) Glynis Nunn Heptathlon (1984) Debbie Flintoff-King 400m hurdles (1988) Cathy Freeman 400m (2000)
The last time we got a medal in the marathon was 1988 a silver to Lisa Martin.

Omni i know that marathon isnt on the track they only really do 1 lap on the track at the end of the race in the Olympics and the Commenwelth games That is really sad thats all the gold medals we have won in athletics in the histroy of the Olympics. Maybe we should get back on topic now? we are getting a bit off track

This is the way the Final 8 of the open for the men and women line up.
Mens Singles
The mens has been very un predictable and alot of the big names have been knocked out and probally the biggest shock was Roddick being knocked out. There is only 4 of the top 8 seeds in the final 8 compared to the womens 7 of the top 8 seeds through. I think the Final will be Federer and hr will play Ivan Ljubicic he has been playing well and i think he has what it takes to at least get to the final
Roger Federer SUI (1)/Tommy Hass GER vs. Nikolay Davydenko RUS (5) Nicolas Kiefer GER (21) vs. Sebastien Grosjean FRA (25)
Fabrice Santoro FRA vs. David Nalbandian ARG (4) Ivan Ljubicic CRO (7) vs. Marcos Baghdatis CYP
Womens Singles
Basicly all top 8 seeds through besides Venus Williams and Hingis is in insted but hingis can count as a seed because she has been playing some great tennis lately. I wouldnt be surprised if Hingis makes it to the final against Davenport. Lindsay Davenport USA (1) vs. Justine Henin-Hardenne BEL (8) Maria Sharapova RUS (4) vs. Nadia Petrova RUS (6)
Patty Schnyder SUI (7) vs. Amelie Mauresmo FRA (3) Martina Hingis SUI vs. Kim Clijsters BEL (2)

Hingis wiill make the final, either Davenport or Sharapova for the opponent.
I think Federer & Nalbandian for the men's final.
Could have Byan V Bryan in the mixed doubles final, while they'll probably win the men's douubles, 1st seeds in the mixed doubles are out.
