Does anyone else hate the way "Imagetec" is used in their name?

Does anyone else hate the way "Imagetec" is used in their name? Reminds me of the CaltexVortexTryTracker - i crack up at things like that in league (the real thing can be funnier than the 12th man send-ups) - but i always thought union was above that. BTW i noticed sasho start to say "a-league" in an interview, but he stopped and corrected himself (" Hyundai A-League") - so obviously some measures are taken to ensure that when sponsors pay for naming rights, the media and anyone involved are instructed to use the correct name.

Gosford was absolutely dead today - they didn't bother putting out the members only boards in the CCLC car park, didn't even know there was a game on... the only hint of anything happening was the stadium lights were on.

Floss - union generally does it like everyone else, they just hide it better. Like the HSBC Waratahs, but because super 14 is provincial it's not that bad. But like the A-League it's always the Tooheys New Super 14

Yep, it's a necessary evil (Hyundai a-league, qantas socceroos, Bluetongue stadium, etc.) i guess every code has a few things named after sponsors - for some it's the teams, for others its the league name or the trophy. Still agree with Andy's original post - I "hate" it - feel a little uneasy whenever i see it.
