As a woman that takes kids to the footy and sits and chants in bay 16 I personally dont have a problem with the swearing but the tits and fanny shit is just tacky

What if the conductors were across 16 & 15?? or at least close enough to try to involve them.
I noticed a few from 16 moved across but they sat in the middle. Fairly useless because no one around them was interested. Back 2 rows stand, we need to make it 3, then 4 and so on.

To the tune of Advance Australia Fair.
The Central Coast let us rejoice As we are the Mariners. From Viddie and Danny who save the goals To Kwasi and Mrdja who score. Our midfield is tight and strong with Gumpa leading them. With Lawrie and Fergie who coach the team We are the Mariners.
As one big group we stand and sing. WE ARE THE MAR-IN-ERS !!!!

this is very simple, could be used as a 'filler' between chants:
C-C-M-F-C Central-Coast-Mariners
for those of you that have heard the TV Rock song 'bimbo nation', if you havent check it out, its pretty funny, we do the CCMFC bit to the same tune as the B-I-M-B-O part.

On the plus side, the Marinators were still coming through loudly on TV. Surprisingly at times you could clearly hear the megaphone through the TV too..... (but then again there's been plenty of times when Auburn has come through loud and clear on TV, so perhaps not so surprising at how clearly the megaphone was....except I don't think a megaphone is quite as loud as Auburn when he wants to be ) So it wasn't all that bad. Still.... I think the biggest thing agaisnt Sydney will be keeping chants going...when I was with the Den on Friday night they'd repeat the same song a dozen times or more (and these are songs with a full verse to them)....though granted the fact that there were about two dozen people there may have had an effect....lol. But keeping chants going for a long time will be a good way to really bring it to the Cove....conductors that's up to you, or anybody else in the bay when a chant's dying down and the conductors are trying to keep it going, STAY LOUD!!!! Everybody around will catch on. We haven't tried that one in the YouTube link yet have we? (the yellow, yeah yellow one)

it's looking good, sing, yell, even swear it doesn't matter as long as there is passion

simple, good.hey marinators? hey central coast? come on the yellows? it'd take a few times through for people to learn the tune (though it is pretty simple), but once the tune takes it could go really well.

The 'hey central coast' doesnt seem to fit into the tune. "hey central coast boys' fits better imo. I also like "come on the yellows". www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwOp4u2nKxAanother video of it. Have look towards the end of the stand shaking.

So this here is one verse that I've already come up with (as per the first post in this thread):
CEEEEENTRAL COOOOOAST!!! (CEEEEENTRAL COOOOOAST) SCORE US A GOOOOOOAL!!!! (SCORE US A GOOOOOOAL!!!!) WIN US THE A-LEAGUE!!! (WIN US THE A-LEAGUE!!!) AND BRING IT ON HOOOME!!!! (AND BRING IT ON HOOOME!!!!)
and after thinking about it a little bit I've added another one - and I might even do this one first......
CENTRAL COAST MARINERS!!!! (CENTRAL COAST MARINERS!!!!) THE BLUE AND THE YELLOW!!!! (THE BLUE AND THE YELLOW!!!!) COASTIE BOYS AND GIRLS!!!! (COASTIE BOYS AND GIRLS!!!!) BRINGIN' IT ON HOME!!!! (BRINGIN' IT ON HOME!!!!)
So if I combine those two together (in whatever order - let me know what you'd think would be best), and then repeat each verse followed by a segue into either the standard "Ole Ole Ole Ole, Mariners, Mariners", a "We're Coasties, We're Coasties, Ole Ole Ole!!!" and then whatever happens from there......... possibly the new "Oh Central Coast Is Wonderful".

Yeah let's give serious14's a shot... Here one I just thought of during prac at TAFE today (currently waiting for my theory class to start...). I think you should all recognise the tune! We are blue, And we are yellow And from all the Central Coast we come! We'll score some goals And win the A-league! I am, You are We are the Mariners! Could be a good one for before the match or half time....or even if there's a long break during the game for injury or something. I'm picturing all of Bay 16, each person with their arms over the shoulders of the 2 people next to them, swaying side to side to this one
