Yeah let's give serious14's a shot... Here one I just thought of during prac at TAFE today Cheers mate - I really hope it comes off. Also, do you do _any_ work at TAFE or do you just whore it up on here all day?? Start calling you Dibo before long...... ;D you post more than me! having an open browser window leaves me 'online' but not necessarily actively on here.

the green and gold army used to sing 'we are australian', but it hasn't been sung for ages, i think mostly because people find it a little tacky. it's too short a step from there to group hugs.
i don't know why, but i feel like the last line is a little weak - winning the a-league is the big whopper, not bringing it home.
last two lines... 'coastie boys and girls' sounds just too... i dunno, it's like being back at school. it'd be good to see it muscled up a little. if i get some time, i'll try to pop something out.

Not a problem - as long as it fits the rhythm and gets everyone on their feet and screaming it back at me I don't mind. ;D

Hey, I'm contributing - that's never a bad thing, is it now?? ;D And I'm working plenty hard thankyou....... just not as hard as I should be. The last 2 days of the week are a bitch like that - and the fact that it's not Sunday yet also bothers me. For that is the day that Sydney get owned on and off the field, y'know what I'm sayin' guv'nor??

I reakon this week espically we will get alot of random people who dont wear yellow and/or dont sing in bay 16 because it is a sydney game. So i think repeating songs over and over (espically the new ones) could help those people try and learn the songs

Ahhhhh, non-yellow wearing randoms......... as annoying as they can be, we've really gotta make a concious effort this week to get them involved and have them do the whole "hey, this is a lot of fun - look at those jerseys, I want one - these songs are mad to sing along to, I'm gonna come back and bring some friends with me" kinda thing. Bandwagoners now = hardcore fans of the future.
Having said _that_, let us get as many regular Marinators into Bay 16 as early as possible.

I dont have too much of a problem with the 'non wearing yellow randoms' it just annoys me that they dont wear yellow, like it doesnt look good when you see us on tv, like the squadron cause their coulour doesnt stand out much its hard to see them on tv and not everyone actually wears that colour. where you look at the cove at all their home games the majority of people wear the sky blue and it looks good on TV. thats what we need as many people wearing yellow as possible just to make us at least look good, if they dont see then so be it, they can do what they want it just annoys me that so many people sit in the marinators and dont even wear yellow.

Also, do you do _any_ work at TAFE or do you just whore it up on here all day?? Start calling you Dibo before long...... ;D I'm only at TAFE 10 hours a week...lol. the rest of the time I'm on here is procrastinating from uni and TAFE assignments. Funnily enough the more Uni/TAFE work I've got, the more my post count rises.......I'm sure it's not supposed to work that way (might explain why it's taking me so long to graduate from uni ;-)) Aside from mine (that's if people want to go for it) and Serious14's (although now it's become a bit of a combined effort), were there any other suggested songs for this weekend? Any others, post them on here. We'll def get a lot of part-timers in 15/16 this weekend.... Conductors and those on the edge will just have to keep screaming at Bay 15, try and carry the songs over....and conductors try to get ssme chants repeating over and over, get one lasting for a good couple of minutes again!
