Hey everyone, In the off season im thinking i could make a massive banner like below:  Itd be good to have something that clearly demonstrates who our group is on tv and visible from all sections of the ground, i guess itd need the approval of the club but something along the lines of what the cove has with their banner they put up which you can see behind the goals... what are your thoughts? yay/nay? slogan? design/font? pictures/images? cheers NS |

Maybe just yellow army?? Having Bay 16 on it precludes expansion next season into 15/17

Is anyone good enough to make a "Captain Wilko" standard but of Wilko as Captain Planet as per Tiger's insanely catchy song midway through the season??
Captain Wilko, he's our hero, gonna keep the score down to zero, he's our defense, magnified, and he's fighting for the yellow side.

Hey everyone, In the off season im thinking i could make a massive banner like below: Itd be good to have something that clearly demonstrates who our group is on tv and visible from all sections of the ground, i guess itd need the approval of the club but something along the lines of what the cove has with their banner they put up which you can see behind the goals... what are your thoughts? yay/nay? slogan? design/font? pictures/images? cheers NS i'd love us to move beyond bay 16 in our branding - it's where we started, but we're going to expand. sydney are showing what the problem is, with bay 23 being the 'brand name' bay, but the cove actually covers bays 22, 23, 26 and 27 (with bays 24 and 25 as cove heights). problem being that people were all packing into bay23 if they could, and cramming it to f***ery. so then they moved to allocated seating and are now having a whole world of other problems... long story short, i'd rather be the north end or something... just some sort of less bay-specific thing. EDIT - serves me right for doing some work - got well behind the play there... |

"Central Coast yellow army"
"Mariners FC yellow army"
"North End yellow army"
"Northern end yellow army"
"Northern stand yellow army"

Sticking to a mariner-ish (or at least sea-faring) theme:
I suggest either “The Bay” or as someone rather hilariously pointed out “The Poop Deck” would be a good one too - both refer to an area without defining how large / small

It's recently been a thought of mine to move towards getting rid of the '16' part of the bay to allow for expansion as has been mentioned here, I would like to keep to the mariner 'theme' and see the whole north end called 'The Bay'.
I don't care about the name 'the cove' and whether or not it's similar, so is 'THE stand' 'THE shed' etc etc.
just my opinion and perhaps something that may appear for discussion during the off season 'activities' in preperation for big things next season?
