The turnout was around 50 members at a guess. Certainly more than I expected.
It was encouraging to see people willing to put their hand up to help out with things through the season as well, not just sign up for the sake of it.

A few things: 1. I have been to all bar three home Mariners games and have always been appreciative of the work of the Marinators who do their darndest to add to the atmosphere. The guys and girls involved are great. What do I think about the pro-active move here? Fantastic! Whilst I am going to be seated in the Platinum Area of the Stadium, I will get right behind the move made by the Marinators. This sub-club is a move in the right direction for all involved. I will join the Marinators in an official sense as the monetary support will be valued, I will be doing my bit for the crew which make my gameday experience an enjoyable one! 2. Congrats to those who have been voted in! Thank you in advance ;-) 3. Let's all remember, this is OUR team and it doesn't matter where you sit on game day - JUST TURN UP to Blue Tongue Stadium and get behind the team as we strive for our first premiership title! I love supporting the Central Coast Mariners and I once-upon-a-time longed for the day where we (Central Coast) would have our own professional sports team whether it be one of my two loved - rugby league or football. Keep up the great work, your efforts are appreciated

Thanks Mariner Freak. I appreciate that.
Of course, we'd love to see you in the Kendall bar for the launch of our V3 and then the socceroos in asia game and if you wish to join the marinators club prior to 6pm on that night (sunday 8th July), even if it is actually just before the meeting, you will be eligable to attend our first 'general meeting' between 6 - 7pm.

Jeff, I will be there as will my brother! We are joining the CCLC tomorrow (never had a need to being out of the area) as well as purchase our Marinators membership. I would love to come along and be apart of history I guess you could call it. Whata time does is the launch? When does the game start?

No problems Brett.
I am not sure how I should pass this info on, though I just went and joined CCLC paying my $4.40.
Whilst I was there, I spoke to Charles (Guest Relations) and he informed me there was a problem with the Marinators membership and I would not be able to pay for about a week. A lot of it went over my head unfortunately.
No big deal, I will pop in next weekend to make my monetary donation which will grant me a Marinators membership.
Just thought I would pass this info on.

Thanks freak. We are currently talking with the cclc to try and 'streamline' things as far as membership to the cclc and also marinators club. You can join marinators club at any time (providing you are a member of the cclc) by seeing one of us, but probably simpler if you just join us on the night of the july 8th meeting. Or if you are tempted to go and watch the mariners play manly fc at Cromer park, we'll be there with membership forms, scarves for sale etc.
