CALL TO ACTION!
There has been lots of discussion about the performance of The Bay so far this season and it is time to do something about it.
Talk of reserved seating and ticketing types is constructive and valuable, but those are long term solutions and we want improvement NOW.
So I want to call upon all those who want to get The Bay rocking to put their money where their mouth is so to speak.
I want to see a mass migration from the Kendall Bar over to Bay 16 one hour before kick off (sorry Charles) so that the Marinators can take up key real estate normally occupied by the 'non-participators'.
Rather than the front of the Bay, it is the centre, or core, of the Bay that seems to turn into a black hole. I think our tactic for this game should be to fill that core, but also build a strong 'spine' to the Bay so that leaders at the front are singing back to the core and the regulars who should still fill up the back as normal.
I also think spreading the right people throughout the centre of the bay will be a good way to start communicating one on one with the non-participators and encourage them to get involved (without getting into the sing or f*** off territory).
Before, people have mentioned the benefits of going over early but not really committed to the idea as it won't be effective if only a handful do so. This is the game for as many as are willing to get in there and make it happen!
