[pauses, while universe collapses in on itself] No no my friend, that will happen tonight at around 1am when all us nerds get home with our copies of Halo 3 and destroy the very Internet as we know it. Or maybe that's just the Internet collapsing on itself....... but is the Internet the world these days?? We _will_ sell out 2 games this season minimum, mark my words. My early bets are on these: December 1st against Sydney December 31st against Melbourne January 12th against Newcastle Home leg of the Major Semi Final.

Season one after 2 games we averaged 5k (5k against both Newcastle and NZ). Season two after 2 games we averaged 6.5k (4k against Queensland, 8k against Newcastle). Season three after 2 games we averaged 9k (9k against both Welly and Perth). I’m struggling to see the problem here, I really am. If our crowds across the season go up by this much, we’re looking at an average of about 14k and our best games in midsummer selling out. Pardon me while pause to weep at the prospect… lol Post of the day. See how easy it can be to cut through the crap, folks

Point of order though, that Qld game last season was played in a monsoon and throws the numbers out a bit.
Having said that, I dont think the bandwagon has got really rolling yet. The CC is still RL heartland and it will be a few years before they "get it". Once the wider Coast community catches on that there is a band wagon to jump aboard, crowds will rise even more (and non members might miss out so sign up you faithless bastards :-))
Walked into the Caltex at Wymoing after the game last night and a guy saw my shirt and asked if we had won and were we still top of the league. I told him yes and he was really pleased. My comment of "why werent you there then" seemed to shock him. I dont think it had crossed his mind. These are the people we need to reach.

See how easy it can be to cut through the crap, folks now to insert some crap: 9k works out to be about 3% of the central coast population. I'm happy with 9k atm but I would be really happy getting over 10k no matter who we play and I would be really really really happy selling the place out week in week out. I get this quite alot. On game day, when back at the leagues post match, and even if a day after or so when in my jersey.

Saw 2 security guards at Hornsby who were from the coast, they were stoked to hear we had won, and quite pissed off they were working.
Thats tops.
