at least they know there role... This will be only my second game for this season (Pre-season included), so I'm itchin' for it! I'll be there early for a pint, lube the larynx, and then to the ground for the 3 points and a sing-a-long.

5 minutes in I'll be pleased with one goal. doubt it will end that way Kendall 3pm Bay 16 4pm start up the bay fine collective voice - around ten to 5pm pick up the bell - adz or celery's job at 5pm after it is left in the kendall ;D Edit: on that any word on numbers if the glory boys and girls were making the revenge tour? one - geordie glory to quote one other gloryboy "we are struggling to turn up to member's equity stadium to watch the shite dished up there, do you think we would waste our money and time to travel across australian and see the glory get spanked?" I hope to be there on Sunday. Mite not make it to the Kendall Bar but I'll try just for you lot to start singing against me and whoever decides to head up . I havent heard anyone heading over. Wasnt that many for the Melbourne game a couple weeks back. However I be suprised if a group does fly over.

Given the dull game and crappy kick off time, that was one of the bay's better efforts IMHO.
Well organised and great to see the little emo's having to move out as today not wearing yellow meant you looked out of place. As we all know, the little mall rat emo's are suckers for perr pressure :-)

Fantastic job in the Bay tonight.
Looked and sounded great (although less in the early to mid 2nd half). Kudos to the Streamers and trumpet efforts.
The Yellow Army / Mariners combo was a standout.
Bring on the Jets on October 7.

Brett did a fantastic job with the Yellow Army / Mariners chant. That was a winner. People started it themselves in the second half.
And I saw the Emo's (admittedly there wer only three of them) turn up get freaked out and leave.
Well done everyone!!!

Considering the smallish crowd, and the average football played, the Bay rocked tonight. The Yellow Army/Mariners combo did work really well. Top effort by all involved.

Big improvement on pre season and a bit of organisation was the key.
Tifo looked great and will be a regular occurence in coming home fixtures

Kudos to all concerned on their efforts in getting the bay rockin on Sunday. Enormous difference! That ''yellow army / Mariners" chant is a corker! Next time I think we get full bay 15 and 17 involved in that and then once the stadium hears that, we do it with full 'east and west' of the whole stadium (dec 1st would be a good one for that to happen! )

Agreed serious, I freaken hate Sunday games :-) I don't mind them earlier in the season when we have the effect like we did last night of starting in the light and finishing in the dark, the atmosphere at about the hour mark was quite special. Having said that, Saturday night games can't be beaten (2 of our derbies this season are on Saturday nights - HOLY SHIZNIT!!!), especially during summer, and Friday night games run a close second.

I've gotta admit Sat night games are a hell of alot more fun. Fri nights arn't too bad, cept for the racing through peak hour traffic up the F3 and the Sun games are followed by the drive back down the F3. Plus there is a whole other atmosphere on the Sat night games

i keep saying this over and over. had the drugby league semi been on another night, we would have had a much larger crowd. i was actually impressed with 9 thou given that it clashed with league, and sunday held local league/football grand finals

Season one after 2 games we averaged 5k (5k against both Newcastle and NZ). Season two after 2 games we averaged 6.5k (4k against Queensland, 8k against Newcastle). Season three after 2 games we averaged 9k (9k against both Welly and Perth).
I’m struggling to see the problem here, I really am.
If our crowds across the season go up by this much, we’re looking at an average of about 14k and our best games in midsummer selling out. Pardon me while pause to weep at the prospect… lol
