thats bullshit it should only be sfc members on sale until next sunday. then the monday for ccm members then teusday general public. the FFA should have a look how the afl sell there finals tickets very fair to all members I would agree with that. If we make it to the grand final I'm sure it will work itself out Not if what the Sydney FC fans are going through today is any indication: www.sydneyfc-unofficial.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=5739.html

Oh, and in the unlikely event that we don't qualify (ie our bus breaks down on the way to the game and we forfeit) are we able to get tickets to the game if the rest of the ground is sold out by next monday?

Bays 1-5 have been blocked out and are not going on sale. They are for the away supporters. If we make the GF Ivan is making arrangements for the Marinators to have 250 tickets set aside. It will then be our responsibility to sell them. Let us hope 5 bays - 680x5=3,400 will be totally inadequate. I'm hoping for 4-5,000. The 250 Marinators tickets are excellent! Well done Ivan. If you normally sit in the stands on the side, and don't want to sit at the end behind the goal, you will have to purchase elsewhere as if you are a Sydney fan or nuetral before next week. Kev, Have you heard if the mariners are doing anything for Member and season ticket holders? Like they are doing for the marinators?

The Away fans ticket buying will probably start on Monday with you stating your membership or season ticket number, as per the away Newcastle game - I imagine!

The way they are working it - probably not! You'd have to just say you are an Adelaide fan and try to sit there. That'd be unfair to their fans and I wouldnt do it.

The problem is, I reckon Sydney people + other general fans will buy out the whole stadium besides away bays by sunday. then they might start working out ways to buy the away bays too, or be lining up on monday morning to jump in there. the point is, the FFA couldnt give a shit about away fans, they just want to sell out. we could take 10k but we might only be able to take 1k depending how it all works out. denying us the right to fill the away end, when we clearly could, would make me wanna cry. I cannot believe those with the power are being so mentally redundant over this. If it was played elsewhere with Sydney having to win this coming weekend, a different system would be in place...guarenteed. I presume shark bait are up in arms also, but it is potentially a huge disadvantage to us as we are only up the freeway. Pricks, does Slater have shares in ticketek? ?

Doesn't matter if we're in it or not I want to be there so might have to go with kevrenor's idea, just grab tickets and if we make it wander over to the marinators bit...

I was thinking the same as i have mates that will be there anyway who i will sit with if we dont make it (but we will!!). But, will areas be policed? Particularly the 'away' section?

As you can see by this seating plan, if 1-5 are reserved for the away fans until Monday, then 6-10 area would be the go! Don't know which are the cheapest category though. I'm about to head off to Ticketek to get some seats in 8 or 9 if Cat C. If it is US at the GF, then I have a choice to stay put or try move into any 'spare' space in the bays behind the goal.

OK, I have just got my tickets from Ticketek (@1pm Tues 21/2) for the Grand Final! Pax are 13,629-13,621!! Tickets say Sydney FC v 'Opponent' lol Note that Bay 8 is non-alcohol (as is 18)! At those prices I'd sooner drink on the pub crawl (can't wait for that) anyway! We are in Bay 8, Row CC, Seats 23-25 Category C - Cost $35.00 adult, $20.00 uni concession [I'll just have to hope there is squeeze space in Bay 3 when we are through to the GF!] NOW - for those who will go to the GF whoever plays: I'd suggest you book now - Football Family today (use your number (MFN)! After today it is 'general public'. Bay 6 & 7 (behind goal 'ish), Bay 8 (dry), or Bay 9 & 10 would be good places. Ask for the back - at least Z or AA ALSO - for those who will ONLY go to the GF IF WE get there: Wait until Monday probably best - but you may need a member number or season ticket number though! Marinators - wait for more details on how to get our 250 allocation!

Ivan has told me the FFA will be very strict on this. In the next day we will have exciting news regarding ticketing for grand final and basically you will be able to buy tickets from the Marinators from the Leagues Club as soon as the final whistle goes for the Adelaide match. That is with Charles' permission.

Very nice. I bought tickets to bay 6 today in case we dont make the GF. I can however sell them and buy a ticket in bay 3 when we make it.

will there be a book or something that we can write down our names and hand over our money on Sunday when we win so that when you get the tickets they are basically all sold.
