OK, just on radio:
Grand Final Tickets - Sunday 5 March at Aussie Stadium Ticketek:
Monday - Sydney FC fans - need password
Tuesday - Football Family - need FF number (from World Cup times)
Wednesday - general public
Next Monday - Away fans
SO, of you like me will go to the Grand Final no matter who is in it, we will need to buy as Football Family on Tuesday. Not sure if you can get Bay 3! I'd just get a ticket, and when we get there - just sit in our area! If Adelaide sit as per ticket!
More news as I hear it! Anyone else with definite news?

we should do a deal with adelaide fans where we buy the away end between us and whoever ends up making it buys all the tickets off the other club...or something like that! How can it go on sale to the general public THEN to away fans next week by the way Maybe that means away end isnt on sale yet (i mean on wednesday)?

I believe away fans will be given 4 bays at the opposite end of the Cove I believe that is correct, but for us we'll need more like 10 bays! Just giving people a 'heads up' as they say!

dont we have something with the club to buy us ulk tickets, then distribute them through the marinators.
and bye "next monday" wot does that mean? does it mean that were not under general sale, and that no syd fans can buy into our bays?

The first will not happen...even if the club wanted to. The 4 bays at the southern end, say 2,3,4, and 5, would not be on general sale until Monday. I am sure we can take down 4-5,000 which is 8-10 bays! My suggestion to the Mariners fans who want to go no matter what, is to try to buy asap in the area bays 6-12 (depending on their preferred area. The worst thing would be to find out after Monday that we have the extra 4-6 bays worth spread all over the stadium. Those who will only go if we are there, can wait for a chance of the bays on Monday. We will need to try somehow to concentrate the Marinators when we get there!

So does that mean that bays 2,3,4 and 5 are reserved seating to stop people from the general public getting in there. We do not know what 4 Bays wil be allocated (that was my guess only). But it would be almost definite that the allocated Bays will not be available until Monday 27th! Note this message is for ALL Mariners fans who want to be at the GF, not just those who will go only if we get there, and not just for the Marinators.

ok, we breifly talked about this at the kendall the other day. how about the marinators buying bulk tickets then distributing them. we can buy 12 at a time, and using the marinators bank account a few of us can head down to ticketek and buy 3 or 4 times in a row. this way we get 36-48 tickets all together, so none of us are spread apart.

The problem is, I reckon Sydney people + other general fans will buy out the whole stadium besides away bays by sunday. then they might start working out ways to buy the away bays too, or be lining up on monday morning to jump in there.
the point is, the FFA couldnt give a shit about away fans, they just want to sell out. we could take 10k but we might only be able to take 1k depending how it all works out. denying us the right to fill the away end, when we clearly could, would make me wanna cry.

Yeah I thought it was going to be members get first crack at tickets but obviously that all went out the window. Now Sydney get an extra week of ticket sales and they can pack the place out with fans, won't be anything left for us.

Bays 1-5 have been blocked out and are not going on sale. They are for the away supporters. If we make the GF Ivan is making arrangements for the Marinators to have 250 tickets set aside. It will then be our responsibility to sell them. Let us hope 5 bays - 680x5=3,400 will be totally inadequate. I'm hoping for 4-5,000. The 250 Marinators tickets are excellent! Well done Ivan. If you normally sit in the stands on the side, and don't want to sit at the end behind the goal, you will have to purchase elsewhere as if you are a Sydney fan or nuetral before next week.

I honestly think we could have taken at least 6-8k down.
I say this because there is no reason the bandwagoners (that I know) that went last friday would for some reason not want to travel to sydney. so it should be our core support (5-6k) plus their families and other extras.
