will there be a book or something that we can write down our names and hand over our money on Sunday when we win so that when you get the tickets they are basically all sold. details to come but that is the idea but we also have to pre-purchase the tickets before 9am monday which means we have to sell the majority of tickets before that time becuase we only have a few thousand in the bank $35 x 500 = $17500

I state again DON"T BUY GRAND FINAL TICKETS You will not be allowed to squeeze into Bay 3 unless you have tickets for area. Ivan has told me the FFA will be very strict on this. In the next day we will have exciting news regarding ticketing for grand final and basically you will be able to buy tickets from the Marinators from the Leagues Club as soon as the final whistle goes for the Adelaide match. That is with Charles' permission. MM, you have NEVER said do not buy grand final tickets - you were in the Adelaide thread! Concentrate man! I have not been talking to Marinators on this thread so far either (I've left that to others) but to those football fans who will go to the grand final anyway, or don't care where they sit! You are losing the bigger picture - you seem to be focussing on a few hundred Marinators at best - as important as we are - the BIG picture is getting (as WT said) 5,000 yellow shirted supporters there! If we achieve that it won't matter what f***ing Bay you are in!!!! The whole end will be yellow! I for one can live with being in Bay 8 if that is the case! Or I can scalp them. What is this confusion now between 5 bays reserved and you saying there are only 500 tickets! 5 bays is well over 2,000. Are 5 bays reserved for away fans? Or are you talking about the Marinators? Does that mean there are now 500 Marinators tickets, or still only 250! Don't get me wrong, tickets for the Marinators Bays is excellent - but that's is still only 500! A drop in the ocean. Look at the Pax 36 hours in and it is 13,729! If I'm confused by this dribble of information I am sure a heap of people are! Why isn't the club talking to all of us - especially members and season tickets holders? They also have a huge email database ... they should be using it to communicate - Sydney had an email out last week!

If the Marinators get 250-500 for bay 3 that's tops - I'm holding off! (we may not even be there, lets not count our chickens yet)
But in saying that I don't think people should be allowed to get more than 2 tickets and invite their friends to sit in bay 3 if they haven't been there all year, and I'm sure some rules will be in place!

Agree totally DJ. 2 tickets max to limit problems like the cove are having. Would hate to see you 20 seats away, Auburn 4 rows down, saffron pubes on the fence and fish in bay 23 (again) etc etc. That's a lot of people to squash when we celebrate. The reason I got tickets was so I could go regardless of the result this week. A small insurance price to pay in my mind

We have a couple of options and suggestions which we are waiting to hear back on, all I can suggest at this point is that the club and the Marinators will do everything we can to get the group to sit together if we make the Grand Final!
By Sunday 7pm we should know if we have lots of organising to do, and with a few of us in Adelaide it would give us a chance to talk to the club face to face.
For any people who can't wait until Sunday or Monday to buy their tickets because they want to be there regardless that's fine. However without sounding rude, if the boys make the final and you can't get into bay 3 and sit with the group, don't come crying.
Lets get over this massive hurdle in South Australia first thou!
