the trolls are funny and clueless because their forum is saying how much they would love to have owens They reckon they'll get Sarkies aswell. I'd know who i'd pick between Scum and Leeds.

But it'll be a choice between A-League & League One alas.
I'd still pick Leeds but I like Leeds and REALLY hate Scumcastle.

It is just crazy that we had like 3 or 4 trollless weeks, and then BAM! Trolls everywhere It's all this fcuking rain were getting on the coast. Trolls are like those "Gremlins" from the 80's, get a drop of water on them and the litlle fcuker's multiply.

Mick: Am I right in thinking that Owens is another A-League player that Con still owes money too and won't have anything to do with him.

Yes, Owen is owed money from Con. But I remember hearing something that Owens threatened to sue him over it and it was resolved out of court. Anyone confirm something like that?

I am told he is still owed money. Matt Bingley did take Con to court and won. Today's telegraph said that the mariners are in a tussle with melbourne to sign owens. Melbourne have put a very good offer on the table. Adelaide's GM said he will be displeased if Owens signs with Melbourne.

Some weren't happy he was going to sign with us. Also said that GO will make up his mind on Friday, and Lawrie hasn't spoken to him since last Monday!

I'd be filthy if a player left us, saying he wanted to be closer to home, only to than go and sign with a team that is nowhere near his home!!

owens is on fox sports now sounds like he is carrying a lot of baggage needs to get his head right before he signs with anyone

I read that he wasnt going to talk to us again until after the baby was born. Would think adelaide would have some recourse if he did sign for melbourne. He is probably just using them to get a few more bucks out of us.

i agree with jackson, he actually said in the interview the reason he was done over in the grand final wasnt just his thigh injury but was also his mental state, you have to put the blame on kossie for playing with him and not changing the system - but yeah jackson is right, he is a high risk signing and you wouldnt want to take up much of your cap on him and deny signing someone who isnt such a risk,
there is no doubting his ability but clearly he is in another world right now and id hate to see the CCM sign a flop (although i still think he would be handy, that is the risk)
