he was simply fantastic last week, so yeah, we're looking pretty good there. but as brett's saying right now, mrdja, tommy p and sasho all together is a lethal combo too.

1-1. Lynch scores after a poor clearance from Trotty.

QLD seem like they're missing a player. I think it's Grossman out there? But the Wilkinson/Boogard/Gumprecht/Jedinak central four have been so dominant the only three midfielders I know out there are McKay, Nicholls and Murdocca (who has been very quiet). So quiet I don't even know he's playing...

Pondeljak hit the post and Petrovski put the rebound wide.

But i was also using quick reply as well... Anyway not too bad a result methinks. Though it sounded like we should have won from the chances, and a crossbar. If trott didn't make that 1 mistake... oh well.

Not really fair putting the whole game down to Trotty's f*** up, sounds like we had a few opportunities that weren't put away. Will be interesting to hear what happened with Trott anyway, if is sand shoe blew out, or he just f***ed up...

If I was a CCM supporter I'd be pretty damn happy with that. The Wilkinson+Boogard partnership sounded unf***withable, the Gumprecht+Jedinak team in the middle seemed solid (albeit much harder opposition will come). The worry will be lack of serious cutting edge up front but it's not all bad. Still with Owens to come in and Mrdja+f***head to settle down it's all very promising for CCM.
That said I f***ing hate the fact this is the case.

Good game out there today, Nigel looked great and great Marinators support. Roar never gave up. On my way home, halfway there. Matty made some great saves but it was a costly mistake in the end.

Not a bad game all in all, I think both teams will be a force and semi-final contenders in the A-League this year. Boogard is a big bonus for you guys and I see big things for him this year. By the way how many draws have we had with you?
Can you imagine a Roar v Mariners final, it would prob go to a shootout ;D
