As a Mariners fan now living in Bathurst, I was really excited to hear on the local news tonight that in June the Mariners would be playing the Roar in Orange.
Anyone else heard this?
Personally I cant wait!

Personally I cant wait! I was up there last week but no general news about it then. Royal Hotel still puts on a good feed. I had hoped to book my accom. Seems odd to be June - the preseason cup wouldn't be that early? Maybe just a trial? I hope it isn't the 16th but would love to go for my birthday on the 30th! Still very dry up there so ground will still be hard. Bigbezz, get yourself to Alec Lamberton Field and follow the mighty blues ... Bathurst 75! Home at one time of Archie Thompson, Nathan Burns, and many more. |

The fixture sounds likely but I agree, not in June! Try July.

June or July - it doesn't matter - it will be freezing in the late afternoon. Pack your woolies if you are going. And plenty of 'warming' beverage too.

Well the comment wasn't lame, the more Orange/colour related puns the better if you ask me.
Like last year, Red + Yellow = Orange.
