MarinerMum tells me that we beat HK Uni 2 - 0. Woodcock scored 1, not sure who scored the other.
Villa beat HKfc 1 - 0.

No televised footage. Whether anyone videos it and posts it is another thing. My mate Ian McAndrew getting plenty of time on the park which is good. I have no doubt he'll be wearing the yellow full time in the near future. Great to see (once again) that Lawrie is blooding local youth! Onya Lawrie, that is just going to assist in keeping the coast talent on the coast!

Arsenal! They have a promising young goalkeeper too. The mariners website is having match updating too when it starts.

In 2005 it wasn't surprising that we carved this tournament given that we sent our best players against the kids of bigger clubs, but our progress so far has been nothing but astounding given that I think our oldest player is what, 23?
I reckon Lawrie's experience with the same rules at Mingara 7-a-side has helped with tactics here (3/4 size field, no offside). It would be a totally different style of football to normal but LM might know a few tricks that work!
